Re: Lol! That gave me a laugh. XD I've been developing a new painting style that really helps to avoid spending too long on something possibly unnecessary. Line art in particular is something I've ditched, and I've never felt more free when drawing. XD

Re: I figured it out by watching professional artists' processes and seeing that they only start with a sketch, then let the colors do the shaping and defining. It does mean you have to rely more on shading and highlighting, but I think it works well.
