Prologue

“Are you insane?” The man towered over her, shrouding her in darkness as his body blocked the light of the pathetic gas lamp. “What is wrong with your damned head?” His eyes burned a hole in her mind. They were dark. Soulless. Angry.
What had gone wrong? What led to this? It wasn’t wrong. She wasn’t wrong.
What had gone wrong?
“Look me in the damn eyes, Emily, you useless kid!” The floor cracked. The ceiling fell. The windows were shattering, the lamp was burning everything—
“Look at me.”
“Look at me.”
“Look at me.”
“Look at me, Eilym. Look me in the eyes.” The wolf said, dawn light making the frost in her coat sparkle. A pair of white pupils shone in the growing, peaceful light.
“Look at me.”

This is the story of a wanderer; an outcast. Whether her insanity is false or not is up for debate.
For now this is simply the story from the perspective of someone who sees truly everything. You will hear of those who claim to know everything. To see and hear and feel everything. But that? All false.
