Funny that the Republican Party, which prides itself on 'personal responsibilty,' would be against a healthcare plan that compels people to do just that: take personal responsibilty by buying health insurance so that they don't make costs go up for everyone else. In fact, Republican Bob Dole proposed an individual mandate in his presidential campaign. Would he have been a dictator? Gaius, with utmost apologies, I have studied all lds scripture, and can assure you that it does not institute blacks as lesser beings in any way, shape, or form; there is mentioned a period in history in which dark skinned peoples were not following Christ's doctrine, but the race in question was living in the ancient Americas, and therefore, was not from Africa, which is the continent associated with the term 'black'. and not even they were considered lesser beings. In fact, for long periods of time, this people, called the lamanites, was the center of docrtinal lore, being more obedient to the gospel now apparent in the mormon church than any other indigenous race.
