Vaigh sits, eager to see just what kind of fighter this Dev is.

Kairyu is getting hyped before his match. He's a rather happy-go-lucky guy so he's just thrilled to have made it this far. However, knowing that he's here because he deserves to be. He's a strong martial artist.

Dev stands up and takes a deep breath. "Well looks like I'm up next. Can't wait to see what my oppent has in store for me." Dev walks out of his room and heads down the hallway.

Kairyu and Dev step into the arena as their introductions are made. With that a customary bow is exchanged before the fight officially begins.

Kairyu grins as he says lightheartedly "Let's give em' a good fight Big Green."

Dev smiles as he goes in his fighting stance. "Heh we'll give them a good fight all right. Now lets start things up shall we?" Dev makes a taunting gesture with his hand telling Kairyu to come at him.

Vaigh watches them closely as they begin to clash.

"No need to tell me twice! Comin' at ya!" Kairyu lunges at Dev, with surprising speed for hulking guy his size. His trunk-like arm aimed at Dev's chest.

Dev is surprized with Kairyu's speed. Dev qiucky moves to the left avoiding Kairyu's atempt to get him in his chest. Dev hands start to light up. "You're pretty speedy but that isn't gonna help you much! Now it's my turn!" This time Dev charges at Kairyu and starts to throw fast punches at him.

Kairyu reacts swiftly focusing his ki in his feet, gliding backwards as if he was on water blocking most of Dev's blows. "You're gonna need to put more umph in your blows if you wanna take me down Big Green!" He grins as he continues to counter Dev's strikes.

Dev smirks as he suddenly does a backfilp to back up a bit and lunches a energy beam at Kairyu blowing him away into the wall. For a split second Dev's eye seam to light up but goes away when he blinks.

(Oops I mean eyes not eye. XD)

Kairyu's boisterous hearty laugh booms from the smoke. "Now that's more like it! " He brushes the dust off his chest and leaps into the sky bringing his right fist down like a hammer directly into Dev's head.

Dev gets blown back into the ground. Dev grunts as he feels the pain but shakes it off not letting it bother him. Dev cluches his fists as he rises from the mist. "Now things are heating up!" Dev lets out a shout as he extends his arms and throws Kairyu into the ground.
