^Re: I've played a lot of games, i guess. Well, actually, the games always happened to have symbols of sorts (Super Smash Bros. - Stocks, Megaman Battle Network - Navi Emblems and elements, mostly).
I just try to picture the best representation a simple image can make for something. After that, drawing it is the fun part.
