Denis is the adopted son of William and Drake O'Reilley. He was originally found in a Russian government laboratory. He was part of a genetic project to make a perfect human/monster hybrid bioweapon. He was engineered to have specific genes and look a specific way. William found out about him and broke into the lab, rescuing Denis from painful and invasive experiments.
