My OC Terradream, as a Nightmare.
This was sort of going to be a Halloween picture because it seemed like a great idea at the time, but after I started it, I actually felt guilty for drawing Terra like this, soooooo I've been procrastinating until now... :'D
If things had played out differently in his life, Terra could very well have turned into a Nightmare. Sparky would've been his first victim, and then, in a cruel twist of fate, his mother (Summer's Dream) would've died trying to save little Purity from her big brother, only to fail. He then would've focused on hunting the Shadow Hunters, targeting worn out groups that had just fought another stronger Nightmare, first reminding them of the people they couldn't save before killing them off.
Luckily, that never happened... and instead, we have yo ship boi Terrason.
I'm not doing a ref for this guy, Terra as a Nightmare upsets me X'D

Oooooh wow, he looks fantastic here!! I especially love the clear and smooth shading!
Now, would Nightmare Terra burn all the books in the world? (and that concept gives me severe deja vu)

he turns blue? hm. that blue & orange looks striking though-
& this pic makes me wonder about nightmare colors, like if a dreamer is *insert color(s)* what... dictates the colors that dreamer will have when turnt into a nightmare? (ah, this is a poorly worded comment, im sorry...)
weaver was purple and eater retained that purple, while the white that was on weaver's body was lost.
i know that dreamers' bodies are disfigured/corrupted/etc when they become a nightmare, but im particularly curious as to why certain pelt/hide colors change entirely...
maybe it's because of my interest in color and meanings that colors can carry.
i guess ill just have to patiently hope that shadow posts an info thing on it eventually, maybe.

Maybe a wyvern with twisty crystal horns, nearly see-through, base color white with light faded purple.
The membranes of her wings see through with the veins visible. And some small spikes running down her back to her tail tip.
