Both Dreamer Prince share the same abilities and forms, just Faithful used his manticore over his grinffin as Faolan favor the Griffin over his manticore form.
The golden star family inherited lion like alternate forms.
In the time of old in the land of dreams, the Griffin was a symbol of courage and faithfulness as the manticore was honor and loyalty.
Mal manticore form is stronger then his griffin but his grinffin is faster.
Mal doesn't use his manticore form because it reminds him of Faithful and Faolan favor the Griffin

ohhhh has a great transformation. he is very epic and ingenious.
