Purity carries Boo in her arms out of the ice cream store, and Eater walks beside her, carrying another small box of ice cream along with the empty 'Purity' box. Terra just anxiously floats beside Fiona, keeping a worried eye on her.

But, after a ways of walking, Purity stops, and seems confused. She's feeling something unexpected--the very powerful despair and grief of a broken heart.

Eater stops walking when he notices Purity slowing to a stop, and looks back to her with concern. "Are you alright, Bubble Brain?"

... While he doesn't know what's up with Purity, he does sense the same grief from nearby--there's a bar near them, and in that bar is the King of Nightmares... Needless to say, Eater isn't too happy about the fact that they're stopping so close to Malice, but he's trying not to show any inkling that he's worried about something...

"I--I don't know," Purity replies, hugging Boo a little closer to herself, "I don't know what it is, but I suddenly feel this... crushing despair..."

Fiona floated along with the group, flying in twitchy little circles and giggling about... Something.
...The little circles eventually turned into circles around Terra, and then circles around Terra and Boreas, then back and forth between the two...

Boreas followed the group, keeping an eye on everyone, especially his sugar-high niece.
When Purity stopped, he did too, and timed his stop with grabbing Fiona by the arm, so she wouldn't go flying off into the distance.

"Wha--Heyyy, what's going on, why are we stopping, is there something I need to SMASH!?" Fiona asked lightning-fast. Her legs were kicking like she thought it would help her go somewhere.
Even with how hyper she was, she looked genuinely concerned about Purity when she explained what she was feeling.
"...You feel a crushing despair?! From what?! I'll SMASH IT!
But wait, what's there to despair about, we just got ice cream and it was AWESO-"

Boreas just covered Fiona's mouth at that point, knowing that she wasn't going to be of much help with the state she was in... Though, she just kept going, trying to figure out where the despair was coming from whether anyone could actually understand her or not.
Boreas cleared his throat, "...Let's try that again...
...Do you know what its coming from?"

Boo was out cold in Purity arms, the little Dragonette had made herself sick from eating way to much ice cream, even though you would think her dark Guardian would have remembered from last time...

Purity furrows her eyebrows and glances over at the bar, but when Eater follows her line of sight, he decides to answer for her. "No, we are /not/ going there, let's just keep going."

"Why, Eater? ... You know what it is?" the white Dreamer questions. Admittedly, since it's a bar, it isn't a safe place for a girl with high standards, but something about that sorrow is... curious.

"It's Malice," Eater sternly declares, but then pauses a moment to question, //but why can you feel it too, Bubble Brain?//
Glancing back at Boreas, the young Nightmare continues, "Malice is the one giving off that aura, you don't want to go in there, do you...?"

Boreas thought about it for a moment. "...Malice. The King of Nightmares, is feeling despair?"

Fiona suddenly floated upwards, jerking her face away from Boreas' hand so she could talk,
"Oh--OH! I KNOW THIS ONE!" She blurted, "Malice got into a fight with Alex! His GIRLFRIEND! Because they were a thing! But then he left. Poof! Just like that! And now he's here! And in /despair!/"

Boreas stared at Fiona like she was insane for a brief moment, then pulled her down to the ground. "...Okay. You /really/ need to chill."
He already had quite a few questions, but now he had even more... He just had to figure out how to get answers.

"...You don't have to come with me. Especially /you./ You need to stay put." He directed his last couple of comments to his niece, slowly backing away from her and hoping she would do as he told.

"Awwwww, but I wanna go with you! What if you need help bashing someone's face in...?!" Fiona frowned, but stayed put... Sort of. She was still very twitchy

Purity and Eater just watch silently as Fiona explains, since there's no point even trying to interrupt, but once she's done, Purity looks to Eater and suggests, "I think I'd like to stay and investigate, maybe you could take Boo back yourself?"

At this, Eater almost looks offended, and snaps back with a mildly confused frown, "You're not coming with me? But it's Malice, there's no telling what he'll do! I can't just leave you with him! What am I going to do if he tries to kill you while I'm not here!?"

"... Uh... I'll be fine, Eater," Purity quietly says, stepping away from the Nightmare and raising an eyebrow at him, "Boreas is a Captain, remember, I'm a Shadow Hunter myself, and Fiona and Terra are here too, I think we can handle ourselves..."

Letting out an annoyed huff, Eater relents and slowly turns away from Purity, very, /very/ cautiously approaching Boreas and holding out his two boxes of ice cream. "... Could... you hold these for me so I can take Boo please? The one still has ice cream in it, so if you could keep it cold too, that'd be nice; I don't want to give Ai melted ice cream..."

Boreas listened as Purity and Eater spoke. He silently shifted his priority to keeping everyone safe rather than getting answers.

...Fiona, on the other hand, just got even more excited when her and Terra's names were mentioned. "Ooh! We're going too?! We're going too!! That's what that means, right?!" She rambled, again flying in circles around the ghostly Dreamer to celebrate.

Hearing this, Boreas let out a sigh, //The more, the safer, I suppose...//
When Eater made his request, the icy Elemental just stared for a moment... Then slowly accepted the boxes of ice cream, using his icy aura to keep it cold. "...Alright, fine. Just take good care of the kid. Don't make her any more sick than she already is."

Terra just keeps quiet; so much is happening all at once, he's just trying to take it all in, first Fiona goes crazy on a sugar high, then there's something about Malice feeling depressed, and now they're making what almost sounds like a battle plan, and Fiona's still doing circles around him...

"I will, I'll make sure she gets better..." Eater quietly replies, his tone taking just a hint of intimidation as he makes his last statement and looks Boreas in the eye, "And you better keep everyone safe for me, I don't want to see any of them hurt."

Boreas narrowed his eyes briefly, hearing the hint of intimidation in Eater's tone.
"They'll be safe. You can bet on it." He replied, looking right back at the Nightmare without any signs of backing down.

Fiona, who was completely unaware of the epic stare-down between Eater and Boreas, had gone back to giggling to herself. She was still flying in circles, and was honestly starting to get a little dizzy...

Eater relaxes his posture some when Boreas assures him he'll keep everyone safe, and he nods to the Captain before walking back to Purity. He takes Boo from the Dreamer and puts her on his shoulder, holding her with one arm, but before Purity can step away from him, the Nightmare grabs her wrist with his free hand. "Hey, don't do anything stupid... and be careful, Purity..."

The only response Eater gets is a silent stare from the confused Dreamer, but after she's released, she steps back and watches suspiciously as he turns and heads back to the Silver Spear's palace. //He's never been this concerned before... was there something in that ice cream...?// Purity considers, //But then again, it might just be because it's Malice we're talking about, he didn't have a very good time earlier... That might be why he's so nervous?//

Clearing her throat and rubbing her wrist, Purity turns back to Boreas and says, "... Well, I guess it's time we go investigate the Nightmare King, isn't it? We're ready as we'll ever be."

Boreas just watched as Eater left, a suspicious look on his face as well.
Then he turned his attention to Purity. "...Yup. Hope Urufu doesn't mind company." He said, starting to lead the way to the bar.

Meanwhile, Fiona actually stopped flying circles around Terra before she got too dizzy. Though, as she floated there, she was still pretty wobbly.
"Oh! We're going now! Yay!!" She quickly started following after Boreas, but looked back at Terra to make sure he was coming with them.
...The thing is, she did that without stopping. She just kept flying without watching where she was going.

Malice had been setting at the bar drinking ever since he got there, and he had been drinking a /lot/. The Nightmare king never suppress his Darkness and still had his wings and horns. " She PUT a SSStoopid pink massk on my faces!" The very drunk Nightmare king spouted nearly falling out of his chair as he pointed to his face and then for a moment stared at his own finger before suddenly continuing on " And then rannns OFFS! It's had funds chasssing her... but why? Why did we have tosh stop ssseeing everyone? I thoughts we had love? " He said drunkenly and took a drink for a glass and set it down, Malice then leaned over the bar, knocking over his glass as he looked to the bar keeper " do's yooou have pie? I d-on't but Alex's likes pie... what's if I got herr piess? Would she loves me again?"

The bar keeper was still nervous about the monster looking man and had been to scared to leave so he had been serving the Nightmare king his drinks He " she really sounds like something man..."he replied nervously as he got the Nightmare king yet another glass " sorry man, we don't have pie here just drinks " he said and look up seen the new arrivals " oh man more of them?... I need to get a new job"

Malice look up at the bar keeper and then followed his line of sight " thossse are my Pals!" He said with a big drunken grin. The Nightmare king got up and immediately almost fell over but surprisingly he didn't. Mal stumbled into chairs and tables as he quickly went over to the small group "Hi GUYSS!" he slurred as he drunkenly suede, Mal nearly fell over but grabbed a hold of what was close to him who just happened to be Purity and Boreas.

Malice look up at Boreas " Hey! It's Booreas! I thought you die buddy! It's ices to see you! " He said cheerfully and gave a friendly pets of the ice Elemental " we did work do getthere... Come, comes have a drink with me old pal!"
Malice wings try to grab Fiona and Terra, but of course his claw just go through the ghost, his claw wiggled not comprehending that he couldn't grab Terra, but he didn't do that for long. The Nightmare king wanted drinks and so he try to pull who he had over to the bar, likely stumbling the entire time...

Malice once he got to the bar and let go of everyone, Malice declared "DRINK ON THE ROOF!" As he slammed his hand down on the bar.

The bar keeper nervously set up glasses and fill them up

For some reason, even though she had known it was a bar, it didn't quite register in Purity's head that it might not smell too good in there, and the moment the horrid stench assaults her senses, she gags and covers her nose and mouth with her hands. She doesn't even notice Malice until he stumbles over and grabs her, which causes her to squeak in surprise. //Oh moons, he's drunk out of his mind...//

She doesn't resist Malice as he pulls her along (although she does try to keep her balance, with how he stumbles around), and quietly sits at the bar, although she has absolutely zero intention of accepting any drink from either the Nightmare King or the bartender. With her hands still covering her nose, she whispers to her Fairfin for help: "Serenity...!"

And almost immediately, the Lily Fairfin flies out of her Dreamer's hair wearing the world's tiniest gas mask, lands on Purity's nose and pinches it for her, then turns invisible, "All clear!"

With that taken care of, Purity breathes out a sigh through her mouth, and turns her attention back to the Nightmare King... though she isn't sure what to say.

Once they entered the bar, Boreas immediately spotted Malice. //That's a Nightmare King if I ever saw one. He's not even trying to hide it...// When the drunk Nightmare King greeted them and stumbled over everything to get to them, the icy Elemental immediately knew. //...And that's why.//
Even Boreas was a bit surprised when Malice grabbed him, but he covered it up with a smile like he was meeting an old friend... Which, he kind of was. //...What happened to you, you crazy Forsaken Lord?//

Like Purity, Boreas let Malice drag him over to the bar, while also putting forth an effort to keep both his--and Malice's--balance. He then casually took a seat, accepted the drink, and nodded to the bartender as a way of silently saying 'thanks.'
"It's cool to see you too, Urufu, ol' buddy! You've got a new look, I see. So, how's life been treating ya?"

Fiona had never been to a bar before, so she was immediately distracted with pretty much everything... That is, until Malice came along and greeted them, "Hi Malice! ...You're acting weird. Why're you-"
But her rambling was cut short as Malice suddenly grabbed her and dragged her over to the bar with the others, "Whoa, wait, where are we going, what're we--Oof!"
...She suddenly found herself flopped onto a bar stool.
"...This is a weird chair. It's super tall! This is a weird place, too. It smells funny..."
And once again, before the hyper Elemental could continue or really even tell what was going on, there was a drink placed in front of her.
"And what's THIS STUFF?" She grabbed the glass and started investigating...

Malice immediately took his glass and drank it and let out an "Ah" and set down his drink, he looked at Boreas with a rather Goofy drunk expression " I didn't got its new clothess, your the one whoo...who clothes changes, how long you be, uh..." He stopped his drunk and talk and had a very hard thinking face for a moment " we're yoou Likes that when I last spook to your? " He said try not to fall over. " Life?...life SUCKS! " The Nightmare king shouted then took his glass, he finished it and checked it across the room " I looved Alex's buy Eira lovee me and she told Alex the mutt with her so Alex don't love anymore... I don't understtand I thought we had love? She said that what it is im cast, inside that hurts is why love right? " The Nightmare king try his best to explain as he then took the closest glass to him that was Purity's.

However Malice stopped when he heard the white Dreamer say her Fairfins name and the Nightmare king changed as he reached up and gently took the Fairfin in his hands and brought her over in front of him, the Nightmare king look down at his hands with a sad but longing face " my sister name iss , Serenity...." he said and took one hand and started to gently pet the Lily Fairfin " she was small, but not like you, your a pretty Firefly she was a my Little sister....I called her peanut...." The Nightmare king voice started to break with emotion

Terra still was trying to understand everything when they entered the bar, and at first, he felt tense when he saw the Nightmare King... but then he eases up some, seeing how absurdly wasted he is.

... Only for him to then panic when Fiona starts investigating the drink before her...

"OH NO!" the ghostly Dreamer exclaims as he flies over to the Elemental, trying to put his hand over her drink, but failing to impact anything, of course, "N-no, Fiona, /please/ don't drink th-that, that's /very bad/ for your health...!! Th-there's no telling what it'd do to you...!" //She's already acting odd enough after having so much sugar, she does /not/ need to get drunk, too...!//

Purity listens to what Malice has to say, but then gasps when he takes her Fairfin, and she finds herself forced to pinch her own nose now. She's /very/ uneasy, watching as Malice pets her partner who's no longer invisible, but she doesn't make any immediate moves to rescue her, and instead tries to think... "... Really? You had a sister named Serenity...? ... She sounds really sweet..." the white Dreamer quietly replies, feeling some pity for Malice now.

Serenity just stares wide-eyed up at the King of Nightmares, flinching slightly every time he pets her, but she's too scared to move. "P-please don't eat me..." she begs in a whisper, knowing that Nightmares love the taste of Fairfin...

Honestly, Boreas could barely understand any of what Malice said. He just sat there, taking a drink from his own glass while watching Malice chuck an empty one across the room. He managed to understand at least one thing, though... //Whaddya know, Fi was right. I didn't think it was possible, but he really /is/ a heartbroken Nightmare...//
"...I get it, pal. That's rough..."

The Captain let go of his glass when Malice took Serenity, making sure to have one free hand ready in case he needed to act fast...
But with the way the Nightmare King was treating the little Fairfin and starting getting emotional, Boreas didn't make any sudden rescue attempts, either... Instead he just listened, but stayed alert in case things went south.

Hearing Terra's warning, Fiona looked up at the ghost with wide eyes, then back to the drink in her hand.
Taking inspiration from Malice, the Elemental practically threw the glass across the table, sending it sliding like a hockey puck past Purity, Malice, and Boreas and aaaaall the way to the opposite end of the bar table. (And possibly off the edge and to the floor.) As she did so, her chair swiveled a bit... But she didn't seem to notice.
"Phew! That was a close one! Thanks Terra!!" She grinned, "Do you think they have something other than very-bad-no-good-for-your-health drinks here!? Like... Something with SUGAR?!"

Malice look over at Purity with a drunk but mournful expression " I hadsed a sweet sister..." He then looked back down at the little Fairfin in his hand and continued to gently pet her " I won't drink you...I don't want to hurt you...I " the drunken Nightmare Trails off as memories of his past life surfaced and swirled with his own memories " I loved mys sister, she was kinda and we dids stuff together... Buts sshe was differrent she could bop shift to her dream form our mom was ah human and I promise I talked care of her...I sad I would be there for her..." Malice move his hands closer to himself with Serenity still in them as he stared out " is... but I wasn't there for her...my sister was killed because I wasn't there's like I say... it's my fault she die... it's all my fault..." He said broken with emotion. " I miss her so much, it hurt me, in here" he took his free hand and padded his own chest " I wanted to kill Smoresmirs and I tried, I try but I couldn't....I was weak, but he promised he could give me powerful powers that could brings my sister back to lives....I want to fix it...I want my little peanut so much I believe him..."

Malice cloes his eyes with a painful almost disgusted look "... buy He lied to me...I couldn't bring her back...not like herself...her body move but she was still dead still...I made her into a monster...I did that to her, to peanut....It made me sick seen her like that and I did that to her so I killed her again..." Black tears ran down the Nightmare king face " ...Faolan...why we're you so stupid?..." He whispered and then look over to Purity and gently gave back her Fairfin " don't lost your Serenity like your did mine..."
Malice then look over at Boreas with an expression that he was looking for answers from a good friend and gave him a hug "my chest hurts so muchh...it hurts when I tthinks about others...why does love hurt if it's suppoosed good?" Is it because I'm done bad things? is this is that's why Alex had to break it up with me? " he asked with a sincere but drunken slur

The bartender was just standing in the back as everything went on// man, I seen some things before but I never had an demon man, an elf woman with a fairy, a elf ghost and clouds Smurfs show up before, I'm pretty sure there not dressed up ether..//he jumped when glasses had been tossed and broken" uh...yeah man, I could make you something " he said and started to make something with fruit and a blender

Serenity keeps staring up at Malice, she doesn't necessarily feel any safer when he tells her he won't eat her, but she still decides it's best not to move. //Yikes... This is both scary and depressing...//

Purity listens quietly as Malice rambles on about his lost sister, her own heart breaking as she pieces together the story he tells, and she can't help but cry a bit herself when the Nightmare hands her her Fairfin. "I won't lose her..." she softly says, looking down at her partner sorrowfully. The white Dreamer knows how much it hurts to lose someone you love, and she has something in mind to say to Malice, but he's looking to Boreas for help, so Purity decides to be polite and wait for the Elemental to answer him first. //Faolan... I guess that's who he was as a Dreamer... I feel so bad for him... It's so sad...//

As excited as Fiona is for something else with sugar, Terra knows that won't end well for anyone... So, reluctantly, he floats over and tries to sit on the bar stool beside Fiona, and he leans forward to speak to the bartender, "U-uhm... I'm sorry, but Fiona /really/ doesn't need anything with sugar... Sh-she's already on a b-bit of a sugar high... I really don't think she needs anything..."

And then he waits, feeling confident that he's doomed himself, and that Fiona will hate him for denying her drink...

Boreas attentively listened as Malice went on about his past life, silently piecing everything together along with Purity.
Even he felt sorrowful for the Nightmare...

He was awfully surprised when Malice gave him a hug... But he put one arm around him anyways. (He had to move the ice cream boxes first, though.)
"I don't know exactly why she broke up with you. All I know for sure is... Love can be the greatest thing ever... But when you lose it, it can make you feel like the worst. It's gonna hurt /a lot./ Maybe feel worse than any other kind of pain you've felt. But give it time... You'll get through this."

"Wait, whaaaat!? No more sugar?! Why?! I thought it was really good..!" Fiona looked very disappointed by that... "...Well... T-that's ok! It's ok because I trust you!! Because you're smart and great and awesome and really just THE BEST!" The Elemental declared, throwing her arms up and forcing herself to not be disappointed. "Hey, drinks guy!! Thanks but no thanks!!
...What else is there to do around here, though?!" She asked, impatiently floating up and starting to look around the bar.

Purity quietly listens to what Boreas tells the Nightmare King, and then she decides to chime in herself. She reaches out and gently pats Malice on the shoulder, and says, "Maybe... Maybe Alex broke up with you because she wanted to protect you... The other Keyhunters hate you, after all, everyone sees you as just a monster, just another one of Soledormir's baddies... They have no idea that you can even feel sad like this, and they might not even understand if we told them, but no one would be happy to learn that you and Alex love each other," she suggests, then continues, wiping a few tears from her eyes, "Losing someone you love hurts... but that pain goes to show how much you care about that person... It means that you want to make things better... And I believe you can, Malice. Just hang on for a little bit, give everyone some time to think, and maybe, if you do the right things, maybe you and Alex can be together again..."

Malice try his best to listen and understand to what both Boreas and Purity told him, the Nightmare king first look up at Boreas with his words of wisdom " it do hurtsss a lap, I hurt more then torrmennted it hurts so much....I miss her still " he said in his drunken slur and we'll still hugging the Elemental " I loveds your Booreas...but not least Alex loves "

Malice then look at Purity with her words of encouragement,
he leaned over and almost fell over pulling the Dreamer girl into a hug" you think I be no more monster? I just have to dos right guy things? And Alex's will love me one door?" He asked letting the Dreamer go to look at her with a confused look "
But I am a monster, Soledormir made me like this " waved is hands crazy like and flap his wings, the Nightmare king move around so much he fell off his set...

Malice landed on the floor looking up, he had a thing face before continued on " I do feel, I feel sad, very much saded when I think about love for Alex..." The Nightmare king had another feeling that came to him " Alex try to protect me?... like from the other? Like Eira? " He was pretty much rambling at this point as he thoughts of his Nightmare instincts kicked in " Eira hurt me and Alex, she took Alex away so that bad? Now I take Eira love away and that good? So I kill her love and everyone better? " He said but then thing really hard about it, " what that not good? If that not good how does good work? You get love from good?"

Boreas really didn't know what to think about what the King of Nightmares said to him... He just silently patted him on the back.
//...The poor guy is just... /Really/ wasted. What's he going to be like when he's sober, though?//
Then he just sat there, listening to everything and trying to understand the situation himself. He'd walked into this without much context, but he'd just tried to roll with it.

He watched as the Nightmare flailed around and fell off of his seat... Then listened as he rambled. The icy Elemental again felt somewhat lost, not knowing who Eira was, or what actually happened to cause the breakup... But he felt like there was one thing he could say.
"Uh, no, killing someone else's love is not going to make things better. That's no good."

Purity can't help but let out a quiet squeak when Malice suddenly turns around and hugs her, she had been so consumed by the emotions around her that she had actually forgotten to take notice of the horrible smells in the air... until now. She gags and holds her breath for the duration of the hug, then covers her nose again after being released and quietly watches Malice as he flails around and falls on the floor. Hearing what he says next, she quickly sides with Boreas, saying, "No, you can't go and kill Catch, that would only make things worse, Alex wouldn't love you if you did that! Um, doing nice things for other people is good..." She pauses a moment to let Serenity get back on her nose and turn invisible, then she smiles faintly at the Nightmare King, "I know Soledormir made you into a monster... but we're going to stop him, and maybe we'll find a way to help you too."

Malice look over at Boreas
" THAT! no good?" He repeats and then rolled his head to the other side and look at Purity with an almost confused look " Alex wouldn't loveded mes if I killss Catch?" That's NO goodss! " He slurs then added " I do it thise nice day for people and I'll be goods?"

The Nightmare king trying to get up, flared around like a fish out of water, he finally got his upper body upright by holding on to his stool, Malice then pulled himself up enough to we're he sat his chin on the top of the stool " boother salad keys were gonna to stopped Soleormys but I didn't a Stoopid..." He then slide more of his body over the stool so he was now laying on it with his stomach " m-aybe yo GUYSS can fix it ?" he slurred as his hand reached on to the counter and felt around for a glass.

The bartender finish making the fruity drink " man, no one going to believe this when I tell them" he said just drank it himself

"Doing nice things for people would be a step in the right direction." Boreas nodded in agreement. //...I still can't believe we're saying this to the Nightmare King...//
The icy Elemental watched as Malice pulled himself back up onto the bar stool. He struggled to understand what the Nightmare was saying at first, but managed to piece it together enough, "You can bet that I'll do everything I can to help stop Soledormir, too."
...He tried to be subtle as he reached up and pushed a few of the remaining drinks out of Malice's reach.

Meanwhile, Fiona had been flying laps around the room, as she had a lack of things to do and just HAD TO KEEP MOVING, NO MATTER WHAT. But then... Something caught her eye...
Something with rainbow colors...
A jukebox.
The Elemental let out a gasp and flew down to it, "Terra!! LOOK AT THIS THING!! It's so colorful and cool-looking and it's got LOADS OF BUTTONS!! I'm gonna push one!!!"
She drew her hand back dramatically, getting ready to push a button...
But she suddenly froze in place, her arm growing twitchy as she couldn't decide which one to push. Then suddenly, she threw her arm forward, completely misjudging how quickly she was going to push said button...

Long story short, she punched the jukebox.

But somehow, it still started working, playing a tune throughout the bar with the words, "Never gonna give you up. Never gonna let you down..."

//It's hard to understand what he's saying...// Purity sighs, though something he says makes her wonder, "Fix it? What, the Keys? Do the Keys need fixing?" She was going to simply wait for his drunken reply, but then she gets distracted when she hears a crash...

Terra had been watching Fiona rather tensely, just waiting for her to smash something... Admittedly though, he's glad she didn't hate him for refusing her fruity drink, and all the things she called him made him feel a bit better too, but that only made him less worried for a moment. It doesn't help really, when Fiona confirms his fears and punches the jukebox, causing it to play. //... W-well... at least it's still working...// the ghostly Dreamer tries to be positive, quietly floating over to the air Elemental. "... That's a jukebox, it plays different songs depending on what you choose."
//... Hopefully, she'll calm down soon... right...?//

Malice hand searched for a beverage but to no avail that to his friend, he then by some miracle pulled himself up all the way back onto his stool and sat down " Faye had a plans do stopped Solesthos but we didn't.. the lasted key wasn't doned yesterdays so all that they did is put him in time off " the Nightmare king try his best to explain in his current state, then dramatically flopped forward so his upper body was now halfway on the counter " ...ugh, I didn't a goof up..."

" What BANG?!"Malice set up quickly when Fiona punched the Jukebox, he sat there for a moment as the music played with a confused look, as the song filled the room a goofy grin come to the Nightmare king face as he chuckled, Malice stared to move his shoulders back and forth to the rhythm and a moment later he took one hand and moved his pointer finger back and forth to the beat.

Boreas pulled his hand back when Malice managed to sit back up. Then the game of figuring out what exactly the Nightmare was saying started again. "...The last key wasn't finished?" He muttered, thinking deeply about the whole story.
...However, his thoughts were thrown a bit off course when he heard a loud 'SLAM,' then music starting to play. The icy Elemental soon spotted his niece across the room and immediately understood what had happened. //That crazy kid. I hope she doesn't try to wreck the place...//
He raised an eyebrow as the King of Nightmares started dancing. //...Eh, I don't blame him. This song's pretty good.// He thought, bobbing his head to the beat as well.

Fiona let out an 'Oooooh!" when she heard the music start to play. She hopped in place to the beat, on one foot, then the other as she heard Terra explain what a jukebox is, "AH!! That's super cool! This song's super cool too! I don't know what I'm doing with my feet, but it's AWESOME!! C'mon! Let's go!!" The Elemental pretty much invited Terra to join in the dance before hopping onward, giggling and gracefully spinning around a few times...
Before coming to a sliding stop and knocking over a small table and the few chairs around it--domino style.
"OOPS!"

Purity was going to comment on the one Key being unfinished as well, but the sound of a jukebox getting punched derails that train of thought, and she turns her head to watch as the chaos unfolds. She notices how Malice reacts to the music, and can't help but smile a bit... //Maybe this will cheer him up some, at least.//
... And then Fiona knocks over some chairs and a table. //... I've got some really crazy friends, but I sure love them.//

In the meantime, Purity decides to make herself useful. She summons her mop and manipulates her water magic to clean up the shattered glasses Malice and Fiona threw, opens the doors to the bar to try and let some of the stink out, and she even starts cleaning the counters... because there comes a point when enough is enough.

On the other hand, Terra is much too shy to dance with Fiona, even with the invitation, and instead turns mostly invisible with a silly look on his face. He thinks about it, though... "F-Fiona, I... I think you need to calm down a b-bit..." he quietly suggests, flinching when the Elemental plays dominoes with the furniture.

Malice had got up off his stool, he wobbled and suede drunkenly and had gone from a simple hand gesture to doing the full blown disco moves with his hand, going down and out.

Malice was dancing in his drunk way, he almost fell over more than a few times and definitely knocked over a few chairs, the Nightmare king noticed Purity cleaning and he moved over to her " come down and DANCE! It's a be goods thing!" He slurred.he then took the white Dreamer by her hand and pulled her over to we're Fiona and Terra we're, Malice had a hold of Purity hand and was moving to the Rhythm of the music even though he was very much drunk, he even try to sing along "Neveeer goone givess yoou ups

Nevers gonnass tell a lie and ouchy ouch yourself~" if he wasn't drunk out of his mind Malice would have sounds pretty good but he was very much drunk

//...Whoops. I jinxed it.// Boreas thought as Fiona started wrecking the place.

Then he sat there at the bar, just sort of... Observing the odd phenomenon in front of him.
//...This has to be one of the weirdest things I've ever witnessed.
And I've witnessed quite a few weird things.
...At least everything seems pretty harmless at the moment...//
The icy Elemental kept a sharp eye on everyone, just in case he needed to intervene at some point.

Fiona looked back at Terra, then hopped over to him. She stopped in front of the ghost and actually tried staying put for the moment, although she still bobbed to the music...
But then she heard Malice shout the word 'dance.' And when she saw him dancing and pulling Purity over to them...
"Ooh! C'mooon, Terra! Don't you wanna dance too?! It'll be fun!! I know you're a ghost, and that makes some things kinda tough, but dancing isn't one of those things, is it? I mean, you might float... Is that what's stopping you!? If it's floating you're worried about--look, look! I'll fly with you!!" The Elemental said, flying into the air, then from side to side to demonstrate.
"We could dance together /IN THE AIR!!/" She exclaimed, grinning and opening her arms wide.

Purity had gotten so caught up in her cleaning that she had sort of tuned out Malice for the most part, until he deliberately came over to her and made his suggestion. "Uh..." she mumbles, still smiling at first, but when he grabs her hand and drags her back to where he was, it changes to a very awkward, rather confused look.

And then the King of Nightmares starts trying to dance while still holding her hand...

The poor girl looks very uncomfortable and bites her lip, looking over at Boreas with wide eyes. //Is this something I /need/ to do...? How would he react if I refused...??// Purity asks herself, but feigns a small smile and decides to play along... a little... and starts making slow, unenthusiastic dance moves.

Terradream feels /incredibly/ torn when Fiona calls for him to join her... Part of him honestly really wants to join her, seeing how happy she is, and how she opens her arms wide for him... But part of him still wants to hold back. He can't do that, wouldn't it be horrifyingly embarrassing? Isn't Fiona only acting this way because she's high on sugar? What would other people think....?
... But, he smiles faintly and slowly floats up to join the Elemental. "I-I... I don't kn-know how to dance though..." the Dreamer ghost mumbles quietly.

Malice had a dorky smile as Purity 'danced' and started to laugh " you do don't dance funnys! Here, here, you show mee " he slurred and then pull the white dreamer clothes to himself, he put a hand around her waste and try to Waltz with her to a rock and roll song..." 1,2,5 hop! 1,4s, roll " the Nightmare king was now just making up his own dance, trying his best to elegantly waltz and then toss in some random jazz moves, which one of them was letting go of Purity and drunkenly prancing backwards doing enthusiastic hand gestures, then stopping to do the Disco arm motion back and forth and then drunkenly prancing back to Purity again and continuing their Waltz thing, doing it all with a goofy smile.

Boreas watched as Purity gave him a wide-eyed look and Malice continued his... Unique combination of dance moves. //...Welp. This is awkward. I should probably do something about it.// He got up and started making his way over to them, avoiding the fallen chairs and tables along the way...
"...Hey, Wolf! Mind if I have a dance with her next?"

Fiona grinned excitedly and clapped her hands together as Terra floated up to her, but she very briefly paused when he expressed his dilemma, "You don't know how? You don't have to know how!! You just gotta move to the music and have fun with it! So, just do what you think is fun!! That's what I've been doing~!" She hummed happily, spinning around once, then rhythmically floating and moving her arms from side to side to demonstrate.

//The King of Nightmares is dancing with meeeeeeeee...// Purity grimaces and blushes, tensing up when Malice pulls her close, feeling more than just a little uncomfortable. //He's just drunk, I just have to keep that in mind, he's so drunk, this will never ever happen again, and we're not ever going to mention this to ANYONE...// "Y-yeah, you're... you're a lot better at dancing... than I am..." Purity mumbles, trying her hardest to keep up a forced smile, she had hoped Malice was done with her when he pranced backwards. but then he came right back...

Luckily for her, Boreas gives her a spark of hope. //Yes, please help me out of this!! I'm glad he's perked up, but the only one I'd ever want to be so close to is Weaver...//

Terra watches Fiona a while longer, debating if he should really even go through with this... but, he already made his decision--it's too late to turn back now. So, he slowly starts swaying from side to side, tucks his arms in at a 90 degree angle, and slowly swings his arms back and forth too.

In short, he's doing a slower, more nervous version of the Malo Mart dance from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.

Malice was really into his bizarre dancing with Purity, he was smiling and laughing very drunkenly.

The Nightmare king look up at his buddy when he asked if he could dance with the Dreamer girl next " OKAY! " He reply loud and drunkenly, he wasn't sure why Boreas wanted to dance with her other than...
He look back and forth between the two " is her your wife?" He slurred then add "She's notit's thattt greatss at it those " Mal try warned Boreas or at least he was under the impression he was.

Malice took Purity hand and pulled it to we're Boreas could take over the dance " bye, ey byee, haves good times " he slurred.

The Nightmare king stumbled over to the side, he grabbed a chair to balance himself " nowth what?" He thinks out loud, he no longer had a dance partner and he wanted to dance. Mal eyes look over the room and then landed on the only other women there " shess maybe gooOod dancing? " He questioned eyeing Fiona...

The bartender was still there, he had given a breath of relief when the small group move more to the jukebox and we're no longer showing any interest in him //man, no one will ever believe this...// He then got an idea, the man pulled out a cell phone and had been recording ever since the strange people started dancing // I'm going get famous with this, man I bet I'll get a billion likes on YouTube!//

At first, Boreas was relieved when Malice agreed.
...But then he asked a question that the icy Elemental was definitely /not/ expecting. "...'Scuse me...?!" He blurted, his expression turning to one of shock. "No. No, she is /not my wife./" He stated, trying not to show how awkward he actually felt at that moment. //He'd have to be /crazy/ to think that... That stuff's really messing with his head...//

He watched as Malice left Purity with him, then stumbled away. The Elemental very briefly looked at the Dreamer girl with an apologetic look, then slowly brought one hand to his forehead and let out a sigh. "Sweet mother of the stars... Sorry about that..."

Fiona watched excitedly as Terra started dancing. "Yeah, YEAH!! You're doing it!! AWESOME!!" She exclaimed happily, giggling and flying a circle around him before stopping beside him and watching his movements briefly... "Ooh, I like that dance--I'll do it too!!" She said, starting to mimic his dance moves... Except that her version of it was a lot more enthusiastic.

Purity stares blankly at first when Malice makes his assumption, just trying to wrap her head around what he said... "... WHHHAAAAAAAAT!?!?!?!" she then yells out and jumps back, looking absolutely HORRIFIED as she brings her arms close to her chest, wordlessly watching as the Nightmare King just turns away...

It still takes her a while longer for her to reach a point where she can even respond to Boreas. "... It's... it's fine, this is fine, he's just drunk... He's just really out of it," the Dreamer girl finally remarks, squeezing her eyes shut and pressing her hand to her forehead, possibly trying to tell herself that too. "Ugh, I am NEVER going into another filthy place like this, /ever/ again... I'm sorry too, that /this/ is what you have to put up with after being stuck in a star for... however long... Oh, moons..."

Terra would blush if he weren't a ghost, and he smiles at Fiona as she joins him in his dance. "I-I didn't think this would really be considered a d-dance, but I guess it's alright if you like it..."

He has no idea that he's being recorded...

the jukebox played a new song though out the room and Malice wanted to dance to, so the Nightmare king stumbled over to Fiona and Terra, he gave them a big dorky grin "sing and dance with Mee!" He slurred and started to mimic there odd dancing, except he got his wings to go with the rhythm to. " I nott know whyy yOu're a fairy!

"Yup. He's just very, /very/ drunk..." Boreas slowly agreed, trying to tell himself the same thing. "...It's alright. Frankly, I'd rather be here than stuck in my core and sold off to some random person who'd probably use me as a living night-light for the rest of my days...
...Though, right now, I think we should look for an opportunity to get out of here..." He muttered, looking for his hyper niece and her ghost boyfriend, only to spot Malice heading towards them. "...Oh boy."

"Yeah, it's a dance! It's an AWESOME dance! Especially since we're doing it!" Fiona just laughed and grinned, very much enjoying herself...
Then Malice joined in, and surprisingly enough, Fiona didn't seem to mind. As a matter of fact, she was more than happy to join in when the Nightmare told them to sing with him.
"Baby don't hurt me~!
Don't hurt me~!
No more~!" She sang (Actually pretty well), laughing a bit afterwards.
"...But wait, why would a baby hurt you? Babies can't hurt you, can they? That just sounds weird. This is a weird song!"

"That's true..." Purity mumbles, thinking for a moment what that would be like... knowing who you are, being alive, but being unable to do anything for yourself... It makes her glad that they found Boreas and spared him from that fate, but she gets distracted from that, and watches as Malice joins in the dance. "... Do you think he'll remember any of this when he's sober?"

When Malice comes over and joins them, Terra kinda... slows to a stop, feeling too nervous and awkward again. He floats quietly next to Fiona until she asks her question, and he answers her, "It's not talking about that kind of baby... Some people, when they have a boyfriend or girlfriend, they call the other one their 'baby'... I-I'm not entirely sure why, but some do that..."

Malice keep dancing even when Terra stopped, but he heard the conversation the two were having and he to slow to a stop" Yours her baby? Babys are sacry! "he grimace things about babys and he made a face
"They ughhhhly and did freeeaky though...babys no goOood!! Theres scary! " he waved his hands in the air thinking he was making a monster impression but it look like a silly noodle arms instead " no, no we're talking about dinner things now that! How bout music? I lovus music! " He slurred and then stumbled over to the jukebox " hooOw bout those ones?" and started to push buttons because he didn't want to here a song about babys in it anymore...and so and started to play was caramelldansen...

Malice was bobbing his head to the beat " THIS ones gooOd! " He said and then stumbled back over to the two again but this time he takes Fiona's hand and try to get her to dance with him " comes, comes, dancing and singing with you!" He gives a drunken grin "Sooo comes and movie your hips, sing! OooOa-o-oaa! See at your two hips, doo it! And sing La, la, la~ ME and YOU can sing it's this melooddy, OooOa-o-oaa! " he then put his hands in the air and was swinging his hips back and forth to the beat of caramelldansen

Boreas frowned, also watching as Malice joined in the odd dance. "I couldn't say for sure. He's really wasted, but there's always a chance he could remember...
...If he does, I bet he won't like talking about it." The icy Elemental muttered, chuckling a tiny bit.

Fiona momentarily stopped dancing to listen to Terra's explanation. Then she heard what Malice said and looked at Terra, echoing, "You're my 'baby'?! That's what I'd call you? And you'd call me that, too?!
...Wait, babies are scary...?" Her confusion only worsened when she heard the rest of what Malice had to say about babies.

"...Why do people call each other that? That still sounds weird. I'd rather call you Terra. Or maybe Terry.
I like Terra better, though. It's a cool name and it makes me happy!" She rambled, smiling at the ghostly Dreamer...

When Malice changed the music, Fiona also started bobbing to the beat, "Ooh!" She grinned.
"Yeah, yeah, let's do it!" The Elemental excitedly agreed to dance with the Nightmare King and started mimicking his dance moves, along with his singing...
Then she struck a pose... But instead of continuing the dance, she suddenly went silent and froze in place. Her color-changing eyes abruptly turned dark as well.

The sugar had worn off.

"...Uh oh." Was all she managed to say before falling over, face-planting into the floor, and passing out.

Purity giggles a bit, watching as Malice keeps up his crazy dance, and sighs, crossing her arms. "Well, at least we won't have to worry about him saying anything..."

Terra's eyes widen and he turns more transparent when he hears Fiona call him 'baby,' and he slowly floats back, asking himself if he really should've explained it to her... He smiles shyly when she then considers 'Terry' but is much to awkward and shy to say or do anything else for the moment...

... Although he freaks out a bit when his girlfriend suddenly collapses. "A-ah! Fiona...!" //Sh-she just crashed...//

At this, Purity glances over at Boreas and nods, whispering, "I think there's our way out of this..." The white Dreamer cautiously makes her way over to Malice, her brother, and the passed out Elemental, and gives Malice an apologetic glance, saying, "Hey, I'm really sorry Malice, but I think we need to get going... Especially now that Fiona's sleeping..."

Malice was having a good old time until Fiona pass out, the Nightmare king stopped what he was doing and look down, it took him a few minutes to process what just happened it her "SHE DIEDED! " He said completely in drunk alarmed. Mal then kneel down and start to poke the Elementals face with his pointer finger " Shethss deaded that's for sharing" he let out a sad sigh " I'ed like her, she good with dancing and singing...so saded she gone..." He said rather depressed and with the thoughts that the Elemental just died, Mal took off his jacket and place it over Fiona in respect for the Dead..." bye Eee bye, I'll missss you" he slurred.

The Nightmare king look up at Purity when she said and his eyes widened " WHAT?! shee sleeping?! Shed live?!" He question in disbelief but it didn't last long, Mal then got up and threw his hands in the air "DRINKS ALL THE LAND!!" He shouted cheerfully, with intentions to get more drinks that he clearly didn't need anymore of

Boreas just... Watched everything as it happened. All he could really think at that moment was, //Is this actually happening right now...?//
...Aaaand then Fiona passed out, which made him grimace.
"Ooh... Nobody ever told me what happens when the sugar high ends... Probably should've seen this coming..." The icy Elemental muttered.
He nodded at Purity, agreeing with her plan before hurrying over to his niece.
...When he got there, he found Malice treating her as if she was dead. Though the captain was still concerned, he knew Fiona wasn't dead--he could sense a little bit of her magic...

Though... Then he looked from the unconscious, jacket-covered Elemental, to the ice cream boxes in his hand, realizing that they had another problem. //...Hm... It'd be pretty hard to carry her with her armor and Shockwave, even if I /didn't/ already have this stuff...//

And then they had EVEN MORE problems when Malice found out that Fiona was not, in fact, dead, and started shouting for more drinks. "Uh, wait just a minute, pal!" Boreas immediately interjected, then paused... Struggling to think of something to distract the Nightmare with... //He does not need another drink...//

Fiona didn't say or do anything at that moment. Because she had dieded.

Terra had just been watching quietly when Malice exclaimed Fiona had died, and while it did make him a bit worried, he waited for his sister and the Shadow Hunter Captain to come over before doing anything drastic. "O-ok... I'm glad she's not... /actually/ dead..." he mumbles, noticing how Boreas has his hands full, "... Maybe I could hold that for you, Boreas? I can use what magic I have to lift some things..."

When Malice shouts about more drinks, Purity questions if it's even possible for him to get even /more/ wasted... but that's something she doesn't want to put to the test. "Uh--Malice, wait! Could you help us a bit? Would you mind helping us... carry... Fiona out...?" she suggests, honestly being concerned about how safe it would be to have someone as drunk as Malice carry her, but maybe it'll stop him from getting another drink...

Malice was already on his way back over to the bar when Boreas try to his his attention, which he succeeded, " What? " The Nightmare king turned his head but was still walking, not paying attention he tripped over a chair and with a loud crash fell to the ground...

The Nightmare king laid on the ground for a while, he forgotten what he was going to do but when he heard Purity Mal sat up, he looked at her and just started for a long while, then looked to the deaded Fiona " I cant help! That's be a goofed things and then Alex will love me anymore! " he drunkenly grinned, the Nightmare king then got up and stumbled over to Fiona. At first he try to pick her up, but thanks to his drunken state Mal fell on the Elemental..." Ugff, that not working this way " he struggle the moment to get up off the poor past out Elemental and one he was back on his feet the Nightmare king got an idea and shifted to his true form...

Mal hit the roof do to his Nightmare size " Wohe, it goted smallerss in here?" He horns and Spike scrape the ceiling as he truned. Miraculously Mal didn't step on Fiona but what he did next might have been just as frightening, the Nightmare king lower his head and pick up the Elemental in his jaws... Surprisingly for having a mouthful of teeth, Mal held Fiona gently much like a mother crocodiles does with her babys. The Nightmare king then started to head to the door, as his horns and Spike tour the ceiling

Boreas was relieved when Purity handled the situation... Though, he was pretty worried about /what/ they were using to distract the Nightmare King. //At least he's not thinking about getting a drink anymore...//

The icy Elemental briefly turned his attention to Terra. "That'd be nice... I think I'm gonna need both of my arms..." He said, carefully handing the ice cream boxes over to the ghost. "I'll... take 'em back after we get this settled..."

...And then he turned around, only to realize that getting the situation settled might be a tad bit harder than he thought, as Malice shifted to his true form.
"Ohhh, that's not good." He muttered under his breath, staring wide-eyed at the massive Nightmare.
...And then Malice picked Fiona up in his jaws, which made Boreas genuinely panic a bit.
"Ohhh, /THAT'S NOT GOOD./"
The Captain jumped up and flew to the Nightmare, avoiding all the tables and chairs scattered about... "HEY!! You got her to the door! I can take her from here...!" He suggested as quickly as possible, desperately hoping the Nightmare would stop and listen...

The way he looked at that moment... You'd think he was screaming internally about how crazy this was.

...If Fiona were conscious at that very moment, she would definitely be screaming about how crazy this was.

Terra nods his head and accepts the boxes of ice cream from Boreas, then turns to stare wide-eyed at the King of Nightmares... //HE'S SO HUGE!! AAAHHHH HE'S GOING TO KILL FIONA!!!//

... But all he can do about it right now is hold the boxes of ice cream very tightly. Because he's a ghost.

Now, Purity had planned on helping Malice carry Fiona out, she had figured they could make it a team effort, but Malice decided to take matters into his own hands--or rather, his own jaws, and she feels just as concerned as everyone else. But... there's something else she's also worried about, especially with how drunk Malice is.

She hadn't been able to put up a "Caution: Wet Floor" sign where she had been mopping around the door...

"Ah, Malice, be careful, the floor is wet over there...!" Purity warns, hoping it's not too late...

he did slip around a little on the wet floor but Malice had already made it to the door when everyone voice there consign, " it's nothing gooded? " he try to say without accidentally biting Fiona, his voice was distorted and monstrous as he was in his true form, Mal was confused now, he thought he was doing something good so Alex would love him again but everyone was freaking out about him helping... Mal headed Boreas so he was going to give him his cargo but the big Nightmare had a little bit of a problems...

Malice had his head sticking out the doorway and when he try to pull his head back though his horns got stuck *clunk* Mal try again *clunk* he couldn't get past the doorway... " I'll stick?" He muffled seen he had someone in his mouth, the Nightmare king pind his ears back, he was very confused, he got in the bar just fine so why couldn't he leave it,*clunk*clunk*clunk*clunk* he try and try again, completely forgetting he came into the bar in his human form and now he was trying to leave in a much bigger Nightmare form.
The door frame was cracking each time he try getting his head unstuck, Mal was getting frustrated he put his front claws on the wall along with making chains and pressed them against the wall as he try to pull his head free. However the Nightmare king didn't realize something kinda important, the wet floor...Mal back legs start to lose traction under him but he wasn't going to give up, giving one last big pull *pop* Mal head broke free taking half the doorway with him.The jarring motion had sent his claws frantically slipping and sliding on the wet floor, in the best way to describe it would be like Bambi on ice.

Malice legs were going crazy out of control, he spun around getting his limbs Tangled on themselves and wrapped up in his chains and the inevitable happened, the Nightmare king trip and fell over... Which normally wouldn't have been that big of a deal if he was in his human form... except he wasn't in his human form, he was a GIANT NIGHTMARE, Mal unintentionally crashed into the wall completely demolishing it, as he fell dramatically, pieces of the building was sent flying but that wasn't the only thing... Malice had opened his jaws as he fell tossing Fiona...

Malice was now sprawled on his back amongst the rebel of the wall " I'd fell over the rainbow, sky are grey, there a home that's I hear of only in a song oh song~" he sing very drunkenly

//Alright... Keep your cool... He's only trying to help... But he's in an unpredictable, drunken state... Just don't overreact...// Boreas told himself as he watched, hoping Malice wouldn't accidentally bite down...
"Well... No. It's good that you're trying to help... But shifting and then picking someone up in your mouth is kind of a... Dangerous way to go about it." The icy Elemental muttered.
...Then he realized the Nightmare had gotten his head stuck. //...This isn't gonna end well.//

Boreas winced as he witnessed the destruction of the door and then the wall. His eyes widened when caught a glimpse of his niece being flung through the air along with all the rubble. The Captain bolted, flying as quickly as he could past the demolished wall and catching the unconscious Elemental in his arms.

Purity grimaces and watches as everything falls apart, and she ducks behind a table when pieces of the wall go flying... //Welp... Someone's gonna notice this tomorrow...// she thinks, and once the sounds of destruction are over, she gets up and heads over to the counter where the bartender is hiding, holding up his phone with one hand to keep recording the chaos. "Um... Sir, are you ok?" the Dreamer asks, not knowing what that device in his hand is...

Terra just... watches quietly...

Malice just laid there for a while, " I'm a tasty, we'llEyy gets mooved drinks? " the Nightmare king slurred and try to get up but fell over again knocking down more of the wall...

The bartender pulled his hand back with his cellphone, then slowly peek up at the elf woman from his hiding place, his eyes wide with fear " ah-ah, man I-'m fine Zelda " he said a little more than shakened from the current ordeal " just the bar been smashed up by a Demon, I was afraid that guy was going to kill someone...he just end up drinking my out of house and home" he looks at Purity still trying to wrap his head around that his wasn't a dream " just what are you people?" He asked.
The man didn't put away his cellphone he just had it at his side more discreetly

Boreas carried Fiona back to the bar, carefully avoiding all the rubble. He paused when he saw Malice destroy even more of the wall, "No, buddy. I /really/ don't think you should have any more drinks."
He doubted that would actually convince the Nightmare, which made him hurry as he moved on...
The icy Elemental made his way over to Terra, then said, "...I think it's about time we leave..."

Purity smiles apologetically at the shaken man, and thinks about how to go about answering him, "Yeah... normally I'd be afraid of him killing someone too, but I think we're all very lucky that he got so drunk instead... We'll try to get him out of here," she whispers, then pauses when he asks his last question, looking back to the giant monstrosity that is Malice. ".... We're Shadow Hunters, we track down dark creatures like Malice here and... well, we just try to make sure no one gets hurt." Purity's eyes widen when she hears Malice talking about getting more drinks, and she quickly turns and holds her arms out, "I'm sorry, Malice, but he doesn't have anymore drinks... If you come with us though, we could... talk and sing and... have a great old time!"

Terra nods his head in agreement with Boreas and follows him silently.

The bartender just listened to the elf woman, he still was having a hard time believing this was all happening expecially to him, yeah sure he heard stories about odd sightings of angels and creatures before but chalk them up as silly rumors, but he didn't think that anymore " oh, t-hat cool man " he replied, then looked over at the monstrosity as he was coming, the man ducked behind the counter behind again

Malice had gotten up and head back into the bar through the hole he made, his horns scrape the ceiling as he did, the Nightmare king stopped when everyone told him he couldn't have any more, he would have just did what he wanted however what Purity said disappointed Mal " noOoo morning drink? It's all gonna? " he said with a distorted sigh, but his ear perk up at what she suggested instead " wes sings and haded good time? AlreEeeady " he said and without waiting he heads back out the door/ hole not even knowing we're he going but he called back " it's was a GREAT party! But noOoo more DRINKS so week goes "

"Nice save..." Boreas muttered, watching as Purity convinced Malice to leave. The Elemental was about to head out as well, but paused, frowning at the... Lack of a wall.
Instead of immediately leaving, he walked over to the bartender, "Hey, sorry about the damage..." He set Fiona aside for a moment, then pulled out the sack of gold coins he had and set it on the bar table. "That's all I've got. Hope it'll help cover it." He said as he once again picked up his unconscious niece and started heading for the exit.

Purity glances once more at the bartender before turning and following Boreas. Watching Malice in his true form gets her mind wandering in all sorts of directions though, and one thing does stick out in her mind, she just isn't sure if now's a good time to bring it up to the Captain. "... Hey, Boreas? When we get the chance, there's something I'd like to talk to you about," the Dreamer girl quietly speaks up.

The bartender's eyes widened at what Boreas just gave him, it was more than enough to pay for damage, he was to speechless at that moment, but not long after everyone left, the man squealed happily

Malice keep walking if you could call it that, The Nightmare king was staggering as he went on his way and look like he was going to fall over more then a few times, but thankfully he just ran into things instead, he really didn't seem to notice too much " We gooing do sometimes? How's beout we song? " He asked not to anyone in particular, he thinks and one comes to mind, one his mother sings, but it's not quiet like her seen he drunk " ear my voice My sings

Boreas looked back at Purity, "Alright, sure," he nodded.
The Captain took a brief moment to observe the empty city streets as they walked. He made sure to keep an eye on Malice, who was just staggering about and running into things...
"...Well, now's as good a chance as any. What's up?" He asked, glancing back at the Dreamer.

The Elemental heard Malice starting to sing again, //...Huh. Those are some pretty interesting lyrics...//

Terra had been quietly following along, carrying the two boxes of ice cream and not having much to say at first, but when Malice starts singing his unusual song, it gives him a few questions. "... Uh... I don't... I don't know that song, wh-where'd you hear it from...?" he nervously asks, still feeling a bit uneasy around the Nightmare King... even if he is already dead.

"It's..." Purity had started to say, but she stopped herself when Malice started singing... She can't help but grimace when he mentions 'eating the dreams so mercilessly,' nevertheless, taking a breath in and rubbing her right arm, she continues, "... It's about Dreameater, that Nightmare that was with us earlier, I just wanted to explain the situation a bit. He's been with the Keyhunters for... moons, has it been a year already...? ... He's been helping us almost this whole time because of a magic seal that Dreamcathcer--another one of the Keyhunters--put on him, it messes with his head and makes him protective of Boo. Plus, adding on to that, he's seen some of the horrible visions of the future that we've seen, if we fail to stop Soledormir..."

The white Dreamer pauses a moment and lets out a sigh, "I... I don't trust him entirely, to be honest with you, but he's good around kids and it's easy to tell he's not your average, bloodthirsty Nightmare... I just don't want him to die..." Purity goes quiet now, finding herself in an awkward spot, she feels like she should keep going and tell Boreas why, but she also feels like she's rambled on long enough to the Captain...

My song in quiet of your sleep" Malice sung drunkenly, the Nightmare king ears twitched and he truned his head to Terra "it's Ah Nightmareths song, my /Mom/ sing that its songed to me when I go night, night and sleeps, she makes me remember things for my past lived " he try to explain in his drunken state, Mal wasn't paying attention and stumbled over a bunch of garbage cans, scattering the trash all over, he miraculously didn't fall but end up getting up putting his foot right in the middle of one of the cans and now it was stuck on his feet *clink* Clank* as he walked...

Right away, Boreas' expression turned serious. He quietly listened as Purity explained. "...I heard him say something about a seal." He muttered. The Elemental raised an eyebrow when the Dreamer girl mentioned that they had seen visions of the future, but went right back to looking stern once she'd finished. "...Why? Why do you keep him around? He doesn't seem bloodthirsty now... But what do you think he's done when he /hasn't/ been helping you?"

"... Your mom?" Terra asks when Malice brings it up, curiosity getting the better of him as he floats a little closer to the Nightmare... and then he tilts his head slightly when Malice gets a new shoe. "... Uh... H-hey, it might be good if you shift to your other form... You might get us all spotted like this..."

Biting her lip and fighting back tears, Purity turns to look the Captain in the eye with a pained expression, "Because of who he used to be... I loved him, Boreas, he was the most inspiring and positive Dreamer I've ever met, and I had to watch as he turned into a Nightmare right in front of me...! I'm sure Eater still wants to kill me, since Nightmares always kill the ones they loved, and he already failed once, but right... right before he turned, Weaver... he made me promise to find a cure..." Purity takes a moment to pause and breathe out some of the tension she had been building up from digging up those memories and softly finishes: "I promised Weaver I'd save him... That's the only reason I'm alright with letting Eater hang around, I can't bring him back if he's dead..."

" yep! My mom, she'd made me and me her favorites soon!" Malice explained as he walked funny with his new boot on, he keep his leg stiff like a dog uncomfortable with booties on their feet " shift tomorrow forms?" He pinned back his ears thinking on what form would work, right when Mal stared to shift, the Nightmare king trip over his own feet again...

*Crash*

The Nightmare king laying on the ground but he was in a form, no one here had ever seen him in before...it was a form he seldomly use that hardly anyone even knew he had it, Mal was a big black lion but it wasn't his griffin form, this form had spiky armor plating and webbed wings, his tail was long and at the end of it was a Jagged Barb " ugff, I fought the groOoound agains" the black manticore sighed flickering his tail

Boreas stayed silent for a moment, but his expression became slightly less stern, and more sympathetic. "...I understand... I'm sorry that you had to go through that." He said, his tone gentle.
The Elemental let out a sigh, "I've been killing corrupted creatures for a few hundred years now, thinking I've been saving lives... But a lot has changed. I've been told quite a few things, even /seen/ some of them, and I'm starting to think that the solution to corruption isn't just /killing it./
...So... It's gonna take a while before I get used to this... But I'll do whatever I can to help you."

Terra just watches quietly as Malice shifts to a manticore form and stumbles around some more. "Uh... Well... I didn't know you had that form... I was thinking maybe your human form... You don't really blend in with this form..." The ghost pauses a moment, really thinking on what Malice told him, //So it was a woman who made the Nightmares?// "M-Malice, who's your mother? What's her name? I-if you don't mind me asking..."

"Thank you... I'm glad you understand," Purity quietly replies, managing a somewhat sad but grateful smile for the Captain. She looks back at Malice when she continues, "There's a point where you have to kill those creatures to save people, I know that, I joined the Shadow Hunters so I could protect people from them... but you can't forget what they used to be, every Nightmare has a past, and people that loved and cared for them before they turned... I'd do anything to find a cure for Nightmare Syndrome, even if it means my title as a Shadow Hunter gets revoked, I'm /going/ to find a cure, for more than just Weaver...
... Thank you again, for offering to help, I appreciate all the help I can get."

Malice ear twitch at what Terra said " I'ma though I did tunnel huoman?" He slurred thinking he shift to his humanoid form, the manticore look at his paws " ohfhp, I'm a grinffin? " Mal got up, and look himself over, it had been a long time since he ever used this form seen Faithful used his manticore over his grinffin as Faolan favor the Griffin over his manticore form
"Nope, I'm a bother forms, yep, a im Scorpio Kitty, this is a Face like to use " he try to explain, the can was really starting to bug him and he shook his paw like a cat that got it's feet wet, the can rattled and finally fell off " I'ma free nowadays" the black manticore gave a toothy grin.

Mal forgot to shift and keep walking, his claws clanked on the concrete "my mom? me mommmy is Shoooji" he drugged out the last part "She Solmores droughter she mades me and others stuffed to but I'm her favorites "

Boreas quietly listened, but slowly nodded as Purity spoke about what Nightmares were before they turned. He still looked a bit conflicted, but let out a very faint chuckle anyways, "Those are some wise words. Wish I would've caught on sooner...
...But now that I have, I'm glad to help. I want to put a stop to Nightmare Syndrome and corruption for good. For you and Weaver, and everyone else who's been plagued by it..."

The Elemental went silent for a moment after that. He briefly glanced down at his unconscious niece, but quickly looked back up to watch where they were going.
...Something else came to his mind as he did so.
"...Also. I have to ask. Where are we going?"

Purity feels relieved by Boreas' words and smiles, and she keeps walking, aimlessly following Malice without even thinking about it until the Elemental brings that into question... but now that he has, Purity scratches her forehead and smiles awkwardly, "Uh..."

Terra... is trying to take things in still. Here's this ferocious, monstrous black manticore before him, the King of Nightmares, smiling at him and telling him about his 'mommy' and calling himself a 'kitty'... "Y-yeah... I see that... I'm glad you got your foot out of the trash can..." he mumbles quietly, honestly being somewhat thankful that the Forsaken of Rage had cleared out this part of the city... "Your mother's name is Shoji? ... If she's Soledormir's daughter, y-yeah, I could see why you'd be her favorite..."
He turns around to look at Boreas when he hears his question, and slowly floats backward while he replies, "I-I don't know, I've just been following Malice... I guess we should try looking for some place to sleep... F-for you guys to sleep...?"

Malice look down at the ghost Dreamer "yessss, that it hEr named " the Nightmare king puffed up his chest with pride when Terra repeated that he was Shoji favorite. The black manticore then continued to lead the way, though he didn't even know we're he was going, it was hard enough for him to keep from falling over as he walked

Boreas frowned, hearing that nobody actually knew where they were going. //Probably should've said something earlier... Oh well.// He nodded at Terra, "That'd be a good plan..." But then he paused and thought about it for a moment.
"...Any of you know of a place that'd accept a band of misfits, or should we just look for a bunch of bushes and camp out?"
He asked, half-joking.

"Well, the Vaseterm at the Silver Spears' palace were kind enough to give us Keyhunters a place to stay, maybe you could come back with us there? ... But Malice shouldn't go with us there... Maybe we could find... the human's equivalent to an inn?" Purity suggests, then thinks on it a little more, "We could take Malice to an inn, and then head back to the palace?"

Terra keeps his eye on the Nightmare as Purity and Boreas talk, and as Malice keeps going, he politely suggests, "Malice, uhm... are you going to shift to your human form...?"

" it's goodness " Mal reply, not really paying attention, his tail sway back and forth as he staggers, the Nightmare king almost took out a light pole when he bumped into it " ugff" he looked down at the ghost Dreamer at his suggestion, Mal stopped and had a very focused thinking face or at least as focus as someone as wasted as him could look, after a moment of intense staring the Nightmare king finally shifted back to his human form " I'd did it's?" He question drunkenly and then *hiccup* Malice had a goofy look as he fell face first to the ground....and like that the king of drinks was out like a light...

"That'd be much better than the bushes." Boreas chuckled, then thought about it for a moment longer. "Now, how are we going to get him to stay at an inn without--"

He didn't get to finish his statement before Malice shifted and passed out. Boreas just stared at the Nightmare for a moment, "...Hm. That's convenient."

Both of the Dreamer siblings watch as Malice shifts back to his human form and passes out. "... Yeah..." is all Terra mumbles in reply to Boreas before turning to his sister, "W-well, Purity, I... I guess you'll have to carry him, I don't think I c-could manage to lift a person with my magic, and Boreas is carrying Fiona..."

"Alright, I can get him, that's not a problem," Purity replies, shifting to her true form and walking over to the Nightmare King. She lowers her head down and uses her ribbons to try and pull him onto her back, but pauses a moment to scrunch up her face when she gets a whiff of his breath. //Ugh, I still can't see how anyone could /stand/ that poison...//the Dreamer thinks as she turns back to Boreas with the King of Nightmares safely on her back, "Alright, so who's going to lead now?"

"I suppose I could lead. Though, you two'll have to show me the way to the palace after we get Urufu to an inn." Boreas said as he started leading the way further into the city...

After wandering around for a bit, they found a hotel. The group /very carefully/ managed to get Malice inside, then went on their way back to the palace.

Purity has shifted back to her human form since they left the hotel, and she does as requested, leading Boreas to the palace, and then down the halls. "Uhhh, hmm... I don't know where Fiona's room is... I guess we could just stick her in an empty one?" she suggests, carefully testing one of the doors and finding it to be an empty bedroom, "In here could work?"

Terra just follows silently, thinking over everything that's happened this night.

Boreas observed their surroundings as they walked through the halls. //Wow. This is one fancy palace...//
Then they came to a stop at an empty room, "Yup, this'll work fine."
He stepped inside and gently placed Fiona on the bed, then, thinking it'd be uncomfortable, he took Shockwave in its sheathe and placed it at the foot of the bed.
"...Sleep well you crazy thing." He said quietly to his niece before leaving the room and shutting the door behind him.

"Okay... Now that she's taken care of, I can take these back." The icy Elemental said, taking the two ice cream boxes from Terra. "...I haven't seen any residents of the palace tonight, so I'm gonna stay in the clouds 'til tomorrow." He explained, starting to head down the hall, but pausing to look back at the Dreamer siblings with a slight smile, "Night you two.
...Whether you both sleep or not."
He then turned the corner, but soon poked his head back around. "...If anyone needs me, just stick your head out a window and scream."
...Then he left.

Purity and Terra both smile at the Elemental as he turns to leave, the latter having a fainter smile while his sister giggles a bit when Boreas tells them how to contact him. They wish him a good night as well, and then Purity heads off to her room to rest up after all the crazy things that had happened.

Terra just... floated there in the hallway a bit. Nighttime is always awkward for him, as he doesn't sleep, but he eventually found things to do...
