October 3Oth, 11:3O PM.

Its a very dark night. Out near the forest, on the outskirts of the city, is a small, sonewhat dilapidated treehouse, with no ladder or way up. About twenty feet from the treehouse, Zoaruah is hiding behind a bush, smugly snickering, "Mercrow is never gonna see this coming. I'll sneak in as he's asleep and scare the daylights out of him! Or, maybe more like moonlights...Whatever." As he looks from side to side, he tiptoes towards the treehouse, looking around for any traps. When he reaches the treehouse, it appears theres no way up. However, Zoaruah walk to the side and throws a hook rope up into a large extending branch. He climbs up it and slowly steps onto the wooden porch. *Creeeeeeeeaakkkk* The wood seems to be pretty worn out. Zoaruah freezes, listening for any noises in case Mercrow woke up. Hearing nothing, ge crawls under the window, and then approaches the door. He looks inside, and sees a lump under the blankets. Zoaruah approaches the bed, then...

*AAAAAAAAAOOOORRRRRRRRR*

Zoaruah blasts his airhorn! But, nothing seems to happen. Confused, Zoaruah tries again, but still nothing, "Huh?" Curious, Zoaruah cautiously removes the blanket. But under the sheets was a basketball with a note attatched, "Are you kidding me?" Zoaruah sighed. However, he removes the note and reads it. The note reads, "HEY Chump king! If you're reading this, then obviously you tried to prank me, but I gave you the switcheroo! I wish I could see the look on your face. Oh wait, I can! Enough of that though, if you want to find me, come check the park, I'll be there all night. See ya sucker!" Zoaruah crumples up the note and tosses it away, "Dangit Mercrow! Always a step ahead of me! Gah. He's expecting me at the park though, so I guess I'll head there..but in disguise, that'll throw him off guard!" Zoaruah looks at the basketball and pushes it off the bed, but that reveals a pressure plate, which then activates a flash! "AAH! My eyes!"
*Cla-click!*

A camera the dispenses a photograph of Zoaruah getting flashed by the light.

Zoaruah exits the tree house and gets back his rope, "Now, to head to the park..." Zoaruah uses his illusion power and disguises himself as Mudkip, then heads to the park.

There at the park, Zoaruah sneaks around, cautiously looking out for traps set up by Mercrow. "Where the heck is he?" Zoaruah then hears some noise and runs up to a tree. He looks around for the noise, left and right, but no one seems to be there, "Hmmm....." Suddenly, "CAW!" A Murkrow sitting in the tree startles Zoaruah, who quickly goes into action mode, "AMBUSH!" He grabs a pie and chucks it at the Murkrow, who gets hit and is knocked out of the tree! "CAW! Geez, I was just playing a joke on you, weirdo!" Zoaruah laughs, "Well, jokes on you Mercrow, I didn't fall for your prank!" The Murkrow then asks, "Mercrow? Whose that? My name's Earl." Zoaruah is startled by this, "Wait, what?!" Then, another Murkrow appears

"Hey, are you messing with cousin Earl?!" Another Murkrow appears, and then another and another, "We don't like it when people ness with our family!" "Yeah!" You're asking for a world of hurt kid, we'll tell the boss on you!" Zoaruah falls back and is confused, "MercrowS!?!" Then, a more familiar Mercrow approaches, "Don't worry guys, I know this joker, I'll take care of him!" Mercrow helps up Zoaruah and walks him a bit aways to talk to him, "What the hecks going on?!" Zoaruah asks. Mercrow resppnds, "You got pranked Zoaruah!" "Hey, how'd you know it was me, I'm illusioned." Mercrow then points out, "Your tail is showing." "Dangit, this always happens!" Zoaruah's illusion wears off, then Mercrow talks, "You know, I wasn't actually sure if ypu'd come or not." "Then why'd you even set up that prank at home?" "Just in case you were stupid enough to think I slep at night so you could prank me. I'm a night bird for pete's sake!" Zoaruah is annoyed, but decides to hold his tongue.

Zoaruah then asks, "So, what are all of these Murkrows doing here? Is this a family reunion?" Murkrow nods, "Yup!...But, it's not mine. I don't have family so I just join other reunions. You seemed pretty shocked though when that Mercrow snuck up on you. And even more bewildered when the other Murkrows showed up! Caw caw caw! Scaredy cat!" This annoys Zoaruah, who promptly makes a comeback, "That was a jumpscare, those get anybody! But I'm not a scaredy cat!" "Yes you are!" Mercrow responds, laughing. Zoaruah then says, "I'm not scared of anything! I have no fears at all!" Mercrow doesn't belueve Zoaruah's bold claim, "Oh really?" He sarcastically asks, but Zoaruah continues, "YES REALLY! Nothing scares me,especially not creepypastas and horror stories. They're all made up bologne, especially those stories Peekatchu tells me! Stories about a haunted house full of ghosts and a haunted nightmare with a SHINY Trevenant. He's even got his fruends to try and convine me they're real."

"So what makes you so sure that they're not real?" Mercrow asks. Zoaruah answers, "Because none of that could happen in real life, and even if it did, it'd never happen here. They don't even try making it realistic!" Mercrow then gets an idea, "So, you don't believe in horror, huh?" "Uh, DUH! You're not telling me you believe them, right Mercrow?" Mercrow steps back and holds hin chin, "All right Zoaruah, if you really aren't afraid of horror, then how's about you prove it! Tomorrow is Halloween, so I dare you to spend 12 hours in the graveyard!" Zoaruah scoffs at the idea though, "Are you kidding? No way, that's a complete waste if time! You want me to sit with a bunch of headstones all day? Nothing is going to happen!" Mercrow then laughs, "Oh, you don't want to do it? Then I guess you're a scaredy cat AND a chicken! Guess you'd rather go trick-or-treating with the babies! Caw caw!" Zoaruah then gets angry, "FINE! I'll do it! But it'll have to be a bet!"

Mercrow smirks, "Okay! You're stuck there for TWELVE hours, from Noon to Midnight, and you can't leave until I arrive! And the loser of the bet buys the winner a sack full of halloween candy!" Zoaruah smirks as well, "Fine, challenge accepted! Thats a guranteed bag of candy all for me!" Mercrow then turns around and says to Zoaruah as he walks away, "All right! But let me just remind you, that running into a Murkrow at night is bad luck, and you've seen a bunch of them tonight. So, good luck! You'll be needing as much as you can get!" Zoaruah then responds, "Luck isn't real either!!!" Then walks back home, past a horde of Murkrows. "Stupid Mercrow. At least I'll get a bag of candy, hehe. And on the bright side, I don't have to go Trick-Or-Treating."

October 31st, Halloween, 9:OO AM.

"Zzzzzzz" Zoaruah is fast asleep in bed, until..."WAKE UP ZOARUAH!" "GAH!" Startled, Zoaruah hits head on the bottom of Peekatchu's bunk bed, "OW! Darn it Peekatchu, what's wrong with you!?"

Peekatchu laughs, "I'm sorry Zoaruah, but I'm SO EXCITED! It's Halloween finally, and I've got to be in the Halloween spirit! I've got my vampire teeth, tiny pumpkin, Frankestein bolts, and my Charizard gloves and slippers!" Zoaruah rolls his eyes, "Okay...so what's with the eye liner?" Peekatchu seems confused, "Eye liner? What are you talking about?" Zoaruah shows him a mirror, then Peekatchu's ears perk up, "OH! That's not eye liner. I stayed up ALL night like a vampire!" "WHY the heck would you do that?!" "To get into the Halloween spirit of course! Now get out of bed Sleepy bones, we need to get ready! Get it? Sleepy BONES! Pffft." Zoaruah sighs, "Whatever." Peekatchu jumps up and down and runs out of the room, "Come on, lets gets ready to Trick-Or-Treat!"

"Which I won't be doing, hehe.."

Well, that concludes the first part of this new story. A little easygoing, but it will certainly pick up. Well, I hope you all enjoyed! : D
