You can sharpen your knife, but her words were sharper.
You can prepare the debate, but her reasoning is flawless.
You can bring a light, but her soul is darker.
You can rest in morning, but her nights are sleepless.
You can take all you want, but she won't be a giver.
You can smile and cheer, but she is still lifeless.
No matter what I say and do, I know I'm the bad guy.
I will be until I die.
I don't care for her, but I don't care for anybody.
She was right about me.
I feel nothing. Not even regret.
I know I should, that's the thing I don't get.
This whole situation is only an illusion.
How else could it cause so much confusion?
