Pfft. Quick drawing, my seat! Yeah, maybe it was a bit time consuming much doing a text box for just a drawing to show a simple idea, but hey, at least is more aesthetic and stylish than simple word boxes.

Anyway, in this scenario. Greninja tells Chris the reason why he asks him to hypnotize him via Hypnosis Theta stones once in a while. He wants to train and fortify his own mind and feelings by trying to escape and resist the "influence", so he could never get influenced by the enemy or anybody else (except for Chris) to control him ever again. Even if its a slow process, as you can see, he'll soon accomplish his goal.

Chris: Dakota, don't trust only me. Trust in him as well. I know he can do it. His willpower is far immense than ever.
