Yea New york is prettty cool! I've been to the city a few times, it does get crowded though, bit more than I'm used to aha.

Ok!

Rain poured down as two figures marched in the muddy streets midway through a large town. Denarius snorted, the rain made the air cold and bitey, but even in such a miserable condition he felt at least a bit at ease. Althea always caused trouble when the weather was good, with soggy cold air like this, she'd at least keep her mind off it. Denarius shook himself at that as he thought it as good.

(meep I may be slow as well, depends I've rarely used these characters in rps, but I'd love to at least get use to them x'D

(It's fun to use new characters, figure out their personalities and quirks. It took me over a dozen rps and over a year to settle on #BHRaven. He went through a hundred phases and stories xD)

I can settle on Riptide's storyline, it's always bouncing around, so I just kind of leave him, he feels like such an unfinished character fgjkmm

Rakkaus and Sophie had to disguise themselves before entering a human town, using potions to make themselves appear human. It was a mere illusion though and it was extremely effective.

Rakkaus stood at 6'4 and was a dark skinned man, dressed in black and muttering under his breath as he stood in the center of the street. He had his hands in his coat's pockets, listening around for any signs of wherever Sophie ran off to.

Sophie was a small 3'5 girl, with pale but bright hair. Her red eyes wide as she caught sight of Denarius. Completely ignoring Althea as she ran up to them, "WHOA! That's a cool looking donkey!" she gapes at Denarius, studying him.

(Riptide is a really cool character design wise, don't worry, you'll figure it out for him. Sometimes things take years to figure out xP)

Althea who recently had a stifled expression brightened up and gave a nasty gleam towards Denarius who was utterly muddled. "Donkey!?" He bared showing a bit of his white glittering fangs. "Why my dear child, I am not a donkey, infact such a name is almost insulting!" Althea bent down towards the girl and completely negated what Denarius just said. "You know, donkeys are terrible liers, I bet we can prove it to him, if you wack him in just the right spot he'll holler like one."
"I will not" Denarius responded stepping in between the two. "Don't give the girl any ideas."

Sophie had started giggling at Denarius' reaction, she looked to Althea, "Where's the right spot?" she squints at the 'donkey' before her. "He's a boy? So it's a kick between the legs right?" she grins

Rakkaus had finally picked up Sophie's voice, and arrived right as she said that, "Ya better not kick anyone between the legs Sophie, you nearly got eaten the last time, remember?" his aged voice rasps.

"Yes listen to the man" Denarius snorted the shortly after looking a little surprised at the newcomer. "Well he won't eat you, donkeys are herbivores, he likes munch on apples." Althea responded and drew her staff, while Denarius stood there looking a bit disgusted. "Apples are such a twisted fruit- eEEEEEEHAaa!" Sure enough a cry which sounded quite similar to a bray of a donkey came from Denarius as Althea effortlessly slammed her staff between his legs then again on his head. She was about to slap him a third time but he opened his wings and nashed at her with his fangs, grasping the staff. "That's enough"

Sophie burst out laughing, "He does sound like a donkey!" she holds her gut as she laughs. "You're both a funny pair!" she grins, "I like you! My name is Sophie and the old goat overthere-" she jabs a thumb at Rakkaus, "Is Rakkaus! What are yours?"

They both soon calmed down Althea took her staff and placed it infront her, a smug expression was written on her face. Denarius however looked a bit defeated as well as his pride hurt. "So we have a goat and a donkey? Eh? I'm Althea, and that's Den the Donkey!" Althea said leaning a bit on Denarius who was muttering to himself. "Uhhh, Denarius but Den is fine."

"Hi Den, Hi Althea!" Sophie greets cheerfully. She laughs a bit, "I call him that, but we're both actually dragons! Suuuuper powerful ones too! God level dragons!" she greatly exaggerates.
Rakkaus groans and rolls his eyes, "No we're not" he shoots a look in her dirction, Sophie ignores it. "We're just travellers" Rakkaus says, "Lookin' to buy some good quality herbs and meats"

"Dragons eh?" Althea raised a brow though Den kicked her hoping to deter whatever was stirring in her mind. Unfortunately it only made her scowl at him. "Well, Althea recently ruined the market up here, most of the food got soiled, but not to worry, I'm making sure she learns a lesson from it. She's going to enjoy every moment of it." Denarius stated eyeing her, Althea just looked unamused at his remarks. "Why don't you show the nice man where they put the new marketplace."

Sophie glanced between the two, "Soiled or spoiled? I'll buy some spoiled meat, Rah likes that" she grins up at the blind elder.

Rakkaus curls his lip in a silent snarl at Sophie's words, "Fresh food is preferable, if it's not too much of a burden on you, I'd appreciate it miss" he dips his head slightly. "I don't trust the ankle biter to pick out anything good or guide me right"

"Oh no way!" Althea stepped back in protest. "I don't help granpas."
"You will, or you'll sleep with the real donkeys!" Denarius threatened glowering with his wings opened and his eyes gleaming. Althea grumbled, "Fine Dad! C'mon gramps, if you want rotten meat just grab the stuff on the ground I'm sure it'll satisfy your unique and refined taste, add some prunes while you're at it."

"Grandpa? I may be old, but I am not that old!" Rakkaus snaps defensively. Sophie covered her mouth as she tried to hide her giggles, "Rah, you do have silver in your hair and you complain about aches and pains all the time, you're an old man!"

He reaches down and flicks Sophie's forehead, he then reluctantly follows Althea, best he can while blind. "Young these days are so rude and selfish!" he growls, "No manners, all about 'em selves"

Sophie runs up beside him, taking his fingers in her hand and finally decides to guide him.

"And old people think they know it all, oooooooo, do you get your information from dusty books?" Althea turned teasing him more. "Althea!" Denarius growled, that shut her up, at least for a moment or two. "I'm sorry about her, I hope one day she'll learn to be bit more respectful and modest." He said apologetically, while gazing in Althea's direction with disappointment.

"Rah gets his information from hands on experience, scent, sound and touch!" Sophie pipes up. "Exactly" Rakkaus rasps, "We're healers, I've been doin' it longer than you been a thought girl" he says to Althea.

"Needn't apologize, youth always gotta learn the hard way" Rakkaus says, "Life will guide her right or put her down" he growls

"Rah, that's cold" Sophie says, "You could be a bit more warm to people"

"When they deserve it" Rakkaus huffs.

"Ew you even sound old, probably near death as well, gross." Althea responded, Denarius this time just shook the loose rain off his mane silently kept on. The streets soon led to an open plaza, booths of all sorts were around, and we're circled infront of a big fountain. "We're here" Althea grumbled stopping, the townspeople stopped all to stare at her, the shoppers clinged to their bags and shielded them away, while the shopkeepers stood looming over their goods, like mad guard dog. Denarius sighed and dragged Althea towards a more obscure corner of the plaza, where they wouldnt recieve so many glares.

Rakkaus bit his tongue, to stop his retort. Resorting to following silently and keeping a rather ticked off expression on his face. As they walked into the plaza, even though Rakkaus was blind, he could feel the tension in the air.

"I see you have a grand reputation, why's that not surprise me?" Rakkaus smirks, tone laced with heavy sarcasm.

Sophie looked around, continuing to pull Rakkaus along, "Hopefully they don't think we're rotten by association" Rakkaus mutters.

Althea opened her mouth but Denarius stopped her. "You start anything up again and they'll throw you out, and I'll make sure they do. So keep quiet for just once!" That came out a bit harsher than intended, but she listened at the very least. //At least she still has some brains// he thought. "You should be fine, Rakkaus, they only have hard feelings for her, unless you're worried about something else?"
(oof I'm gonna head off to bed now, thanks for comin out! I had some fun!
I try to host every Saturday tho not sure about next one. I might not be able to get on. :P
