@Witzke Hello Witzke!! :D I already had a 3ds actually, just not Colors! 3D. I bought it last night on the eshop, tho. :'3 Hopefully I'll get used to it. (oh jeez I don't know how to reply on here,, I hope you see this :'v)

Welcome to Colors! I find it nice to see new people on here, it gives the site more life.
I've been told this: If you want to reply to someone, you should go to the comments of their latest painting and start your reply with "Re:" and then say your message in the same comment. I heard that it makes the reply easier to notice.
Aside from that, I hope you have fun here!

Another thing to know about is tagging pictures, tagging your posts with whatever proper tags increases the chance your stuff will be seen by someone.
Something like this picture would have have #pokemon #meowth (and you could put more, like #rainbow, if you wanted.)
Tags aren't affected by whether or not the letters in them are upper or lowercase ( #POKEMON is the same as #pokemon). They are, however, affected by anything other than a letter or number. If you put anything other than a letter or number in a tag, it'll "break" it, like #poke-mon.
Also- If you use a european 3ds that doesn't have a # symbol, type two colons : next to eachother then type whatever you wanted as your tag, like : :pokemon (but without the space between the colons) and they'll turn into a # when you're done.

Re: Oh, yeah xD some people go to the others latest pic and respond there, and other people do it all on one painting. I usually prefer people commenting on my newest pic, it's easier to see.
Did you buy this just to see me Though? I'm really sorry I had to leave DA, and I'm really sorry for leaving you in the dark so long. Tbh you're my favorite artist I met there
