This is what Skylar overheard during her father's conversation with someone, when she wanted to leave her a small letter in his office of wanting to talk with him:

Heinburg:
-Yeah, I'm telling you. That clod of a woman totally deserves it.
-That's what she gets for breaking up with me, after everything I did for her.
-I guess that's the beauty of karma.
-Now that I have that girl's custody, she's going to live that pesky house in pure silence.
-You know, I never understood women. The only thing in their minds is "to want", every single day.
-They're just a bunch of moaners that don't apprecciate the hardships we do for them.
-*sigh* I know this is a big change for Skylar, but listen, I'm still her father, she should listen to me about the things that they are.
-Although I feel she's turning to a basket case, but hey, I guess that's the flow of things.
