"Lady Katrina, I'd advise that you stay back. We do not know what this man wants," the tall draconic centauroid says as he puts his arm out to stop the young girl from going any further.
"Heeey! Paranorm, c'mon, this dude literally crash-landed in the snow!" She protests, putting a hand on his arm.
"Still, I'd rather you stay behind me."
The man in question slowly gets up, quietly uttering expressions of pain as he shakes the snow from his body and pulls the red-tinted goggles from his face. "Hey, wait, did you say...your name was Paranorm?"
The drake stiffens, then nods. "Yes, you heard correctly."
A solemn look crosses the man's face, a hand raising to touch the golden bullet that was tied around his neck. "Paranorm...my name is Dispair Darkyn, and I've been sent to find you."
