Mizu came from a family of Shadow Hunters, so of course, she followed in their footsteps. But no one in her family ever reached the rank of Heaven's Blade, they always got killed before that, went missing or ended up retiring from old age.

So from a young age, she was determined (and still is) to be the strongest Shadow Hunter and be the first in her family to reach the rank of Heaven's Blade.

But she lacks patience and has a short fuse to go with it. This makes it easy for others to pick on her and cause her snap. It's also what lead her to pursue the most dangerous Nightmare, Malice.

She did find him, on her own, and she has a permanent injury on her hind leg to prove it. Mizu was shot by one of Malice's arrows and was nearly turned into a Nightmare. She ripped the arrow out before she could be turned and before Malice could finish her off, Zero showed up and saved her.

Her leg acts up sometimes and she's occasionally seen limping because of it.

Mizu favors summoning magic, over shapeshifting. She can use a little bit of elemental magic, usually water.
