This was just a fun little thing, I don't really have a story behind it.

...But since most seem to like them, here's an on-the-fly one. :p

Luke's dad got tired of his son wrecking his servants, so he set up trap for him in an old warehouse.
A servant told Luke they kidnapped his mom, and unless he wanted her dead, come to that location.
Of course, Luke went to go check, but was soon cornered!

Luke used his cloak to take out most of them, but his dad crept up from behind, and knocked him out! D:
Malphesis opened a rip in dimensions to cast Luke away, but as he tried, his cloak tried to save them by hanging on to a pillar!
Unfortunately, it gave way, and the two were seperated.

When Luke woke up, he was in a desert, with no idea where home was. And worst, his main weapon was gone...

As he trudged through the sand, beating back monsters with what little strength he had, he ran into Shantae!

Of course, being the hero that she was, she decided to help Luke get back to where he came from. :]
When she asked her Uncle Mimic, he told her that powerful magic could do the trick, but until they figure out how to obtain that, Luke should keep being half-demon a secret. ( Cuz it'd spook people, or attract the wrong crowd. :'D )

Soooo, after a quick change, they came up with that Luke was a distant friend of the genies from Shantae's mother's... side. .-. Yeah, they'll believe that, lol. XD
And of course, Risky caught wind of there being another genie, and sets her sights on Luke to kidnap him. :0
