You can respond to this however you want to.
While I am Catholic again I don't really believe that God created the world in 7 days, nor do I believe that Adam and Eve were the first humans for a few reasons, and while I do believe God decided for Sunday to be the Holy Sabbath of rest not because he rested, but because he wanted humans to rest for a day to participate in church, and prayer. Now the reasons for why I don't believe in the things I mentioned above, for not believing God created the Earth in 7 days is simply the Earth is too large, a celestial body made in 7 days would only be a small meteoroid as that's basic physics, now as for Adam and Eve being the first humans, dinosaurs predate humanity by several millennia, and genetics brings up another issue with there only being 2 humans at first as that would entail that their offspring would have to mate with each other, and that would result in inbred offspring, and the more inbred the offspring, the shorter they're going to live just look at Pharaoh Tutankhamun he only lived till he was 18 and that was because he was a 2nd Generation inbred child because they ancient Egyptians thought that incest was a way to keep the royal bloodline pure, unaware of the consequences of inbreeding. That's my thoughts you can take them with a grain of salt, or anyway you wish to interpret them, just so you know that's just how I feel about them, I'm not claiming them to be objective fact just subjective opinion.
