Ah, another horrible fad has come upon us. By her (his? it's? eh i'm saying her) dress design... I kinda wanted to go for a lusty effect or something like that? Idk but I think it works.
Special thanks goes to my brother for help with designing this. #MyBroHelped

also wusa/eddie (im not sure which to call you now, maybe eddie...?)
a biggie on shading is imagining your subject(s) in 3d during the shading (and well, really, sketching too...) process.
imagine where the lightsource(s) are and how parts of your subject's body will cast shadows on itself (and the surroundings if it's a full-blown illustration)
this is obiviously difficult at first but if you reference 3d models in games (i used to intensely use yoshi's official models & illustrations for ref lol) *or, if not those, whatever inspires you strongly* that can help, and, later on after youre more comfortable/secure? with shading, using real life as reference is the way to go. (yes, even if youre drawing cartoony stuff, because cartoony stuff is stylized/simplified versions of realistic stuff)
