I liked what you had began to draw as well! lol both ideas are really good and i like the look of the mark either way!! I love the glowing alot! (would you want me to contiune here?)

Chocolate apple turned her haed from side to side and watched in amazment at the site of thr bog looking so beautiful, It shown like nothing she'd seen before and thats when she'd look down and notice the mark on her and foot was now leaving glowing tracks "is this how you find your way back because I can see how it helps! or is it just the plants themselves" She asked almost in a daze while her eyes stayed widened to try to take in all the amazing sites.

Pete grinned mischeviously, "Everything leaves tracks. From the smallest mouse to the largest hydra." He pressed a hoof to the ground firmly, then tapped more lightly next to it. Both showed up just as brightly, but in vastly different colours, and the lighter touch faded quickly. "I can tell what goes where, how long ago they passed, and if they're carrying anything." He pointed to her marked hoof, "If they're injured, the prints closer to the wound will have a different shade depending on how sever it is." He blinked, then laughed in amusement, "I'm sorry, I'm sure you can figure all this out just fine..! I've just... never been able to share this with anyone." His smile was excited, and a little amazed. He shook his head. "Let's go!" He turned and galloped off down the main path, leaving brilliant hoofprints in his wake.

She smiled wildly seeing to older colt finally smile and cheered as she followed after him with a loud laugh. She would turn her head and watched as the prints glowed and shined and it made her want to just lay in the bog watch it for hours but soon the arrivered at to bogs end and she frowned. she would slowly blink her eyes and walked over to a small mud patch and rolled in it and then she rubbed against a thorn bush to make a few deep and shallow scratches and made a few stick to fur. she hissed for the sting but new it had to be done to look convincing that she was actually hurt. "th-this should be enough... does it look believable to you?"

"Hmm... One more thing." Pete dipped his tail in the mud, then flicked it at Choco, creating a splatter effect, "Most ponies panic and start running without thought at some point. It makes the mud spray up their flanks in strange ways." He looked her over, then nodded. "You look good." He winced the moment he said it, he hadn't meant it like that, but didn't take it back - she really did look good to him. The mud glowed a faint orange up her legs and across her hide, the twigs sparks of blue and purple in her mane, and the ever present strands of pete moss glittered yellow and green, like shooting stars. The rest of the world beyond the bog lost it's glow, unaffected by it's magic, but the little bits clinging to her kept shining. "No one will suspect a thing." Pete lit the lanturn, and kept walking.

She smiled but more in a cute way as he complimented her but then blinked slowly and shook her head, thinking of how she was blushing so obviously but then she followed pete in silcence. once they were on the edge of town she stopped the colt with a tug of his tail she'd look around and pulled a black sheet from a bush and handed it to pete and she whispered "they'll believe it more if i'm un concious... and i didn't think you'd want to carry me into town on your back because the thorns in my fur"

nightswirl sat there the whole time seeing what they doing in the twigs and mud but said nothing as they walked away she blinked and fallowed them curiously

Pete frowned, and kept his voice low, "It's hard to fake unconsciousness..." Plenty of ponies had tried that trick on him and failed, "But you're right, it will look strange if we walk in together... Lay down and try to go limp." He picked up a corner of the blanket and clenched it between his back teeth. He wouldn't be able to talk like this... Not without dropping it or the lanturn, anyway.

a tall mare biger then most other mare her age gallops up to pete and apple and asked 'need any help carieing her pete?' she grined
