Dozer by BloodHybrid
This is and soon to be was, my current second dog.
Dozer is a Shar-Pei and Rottweiler mix and would have been 13 years old in January.
But we finally decided it's time for him to go to doggie heaven, he's suffering from quite a few serious health conditions and he's quite an old dog. (Rotties live typically 8-10 years and Shar Pei's 9-11 years. So he beat the odds of both breeds he's mixed with and has lived a good, long and happy life)
You may notice one of his ears looks funny, it's because it has a dangly bit, his Momma bit his ear when he was a pup.
Also because of the shar pei in him, he has a purple tongue, it also has a few pink splotches on it.

He's a beautiful dog, I'm sorry for your loss.
I hope his last few days are good ones, and that he enjoyed the long life he had.

I'm so sorry, pet loss is always hard..
I'll be praying for you and your family! Just remember Dozer will always love you and he'll miss you as much as you miss him and you gave him a long, happy life.
I know death is kinda a hard subject to talk about, but we're all here if you ever need to vent.

Awwww that's so sweet and sad! He sounds like such an amazing boy - he'll be greatly missed. I hope you can settle well with the change. :(

Sad that he has so many health issues, my family once had a cat that was the same way, we had her since before I was born, putting her down was hard too

Aw blood, I'm sorry you're having to put Dozer down... it's always horrible to lose a pet, especially one that's been with you so long..
