On the edgewaters by phoenixed

I doodled one of these guys ages ago felt like drawing one again. One of the lesser known species found on the planet where all of my other characters live. It's a planet quite similar to earth but it is far larger and offers a huge variaty of ecosystems. They're are also a large number of climax communities leading to some very unique creatures.These birds can be found along the shallow waters of lake edges. They are intellegent and capable of speech. -c-

They're referred to as teal crowns by other creatures as these birds refuse to discuss they're culture or name with other beings. What is known is that they are pacifists and will assist lost travellers on occasion. Whether it is out of compassion or to prevent meddling is unclear.

And good question, I actually did try to match them at least a little bit. And I tried to make the actual people match instead of the characters so I'll put their users here too ig-
Citrus ( #dfCitrus/me) is up there replacing Murdoc, because although I'm not THAT much like him I'm probably the closest out of all the characters I had to work with- and he's my favourite anyway (andifIcouldplayaninstrumentI'dliketotrythebass).
Ems ( #EmsDaDorkyHolographicDog/ @spaceywulf) is 2D because they share sorta the same... shy? slightly uncertain? but pretty sweet? personality, I think- oof
Day ( #sunfury/ @Day_the_SunFury I think?) is Russel, for no real reason honestly- I don't know her very well so I dunno if they're similar at all
Wolfie ( #WolfieSL/ @-Vivie-) is Noodle because she's fun and happy for the most part but really cool too-
