--i wanted to make a giant friendly spider because every giant spider ive seen in anything tends to be evil, or, at the very least, hostile.

i get that people are terrified of spiders and most hate them because theyre "creepy" and whatnot but spiders arent hostile creatures... they, like most arthropods, generally wont bite or attack you unless you hurt them or threaten a nest in the case of things like wasps.
there are occasional exceptions though, sometimes you run across something that's simply pissed off and it will lash out at you for nothing lol. but it's easy to tell when something's pissed, and like with any animal, if you find a pissed off ___ you just need to leave it alone.

it kinda saddens me seeing how arthropods are depicted as not-so-good most of the time, they really arent bad like most think they are.

I try not to kill spiders bc they actually eat pests like flies and cochroaches, but my sisters want me to kill them anyway LMAO.
