Deep Sea Nightmare by SilverSpirits

My part of a DT w/ @SpiralingUpward

The only color you gave me to use was 'dark turquoise' so I just used that and variations of turquoise to give her markings. Deep Sea variants always have some form of pattern/markings, I wasn't about to give out a solid, only dark turquoise noodle :P

If you don't like her, I can do another one. But if you do, I hope this girl was worth the wait!

This Zeharu is a mixed breed, between a Nightmare variant and DeepSea variant.

I'm sure you know by now, Nightmares are quite quirky/unusual.

DeepSea variants are mysterious, often not interacted with, not much is known about them. DeepSea variants can have any kind of temperment/attitude, but the one thing they are known for, is patience. They are very, very good at the waiting game.

Which /could/ make this girl very sinister.

Since she's female and part Nightmare variant. She inherits the female Nightmares facial markings/patterns under the full moon.

But it's not a sugar skull, it's dark and twisted markings. Her eyes also change (as seen above) and her bulbs change as well. They become sharp and weapon like, she could carve through another's flesh with them. But the veins attaching them are still sensitive, so she'd have to be careful using them, if she even cares about being cautious.

See #BHEmilia to see which orbs pop out.

The 'scars' on her forearms, ribs, tail and snout are often referred to as "Vents"

At least, the rib/side/body (not tail) ones are.

These vents vary/Zeharu, but all Zeharu have them. They are very sensitive, inside these vents is a thin layer of skin over muscle.

These are weakpoints for Zeharu. A Zeharu is though of as scum, cheap, etc... (insert many other insults) if they attack these. Since it's a massive weakpoint on all Zeharu and behind the muscle is usually where vital organs are located (heart, lungs, intestines, etc... depends on the Zeharu and where their vents are located)

Another major weakpoint, is the forehead, down right between the eyes and half way down the snout. A large and sensitive vein runs down here, under the skin and scales of a Zeharu (of course)

If this vein is hit hard enough, it can cause temporary blindness, the duration of blindness varies on how hard it was hit. If it is bitten through/cut through, a Zeharu will be permanently blind, unless they can get Jeremiah to heal them within a 1 hour time frame. After that, there's no hope of a Zeharu seeing ever again.
-
A second is the thinner part of a tail, 'vents' are located here too and some Zeharu have had their tails bitten clean off. (Which feels like someone tearing your arm off, not fun)
-
That's all I can think of, enjoy! :D

Feel free to ask any questions!

She's so pretty! A perfect combination of the nightmare and deep sea variants!
I'm glad to see you still making such amazing and unique designs for new Zeharu and keeping the species alive and fascinating.
