a few years ago i never really watched adventure time, i knew it was popular but it didnt seem up my alley. I watched the episode "Simon&Marcy" after hearing good things abt it and i was blown away. I was absolutely in love with this storyline. After that I remember looking at the wiki page and watching only the episodes that had Marceline in them (cont'd)

A few months before Stakes came out, the demo for "Everything Stays" was released and i fell in love all over again. I was so excited that Marcy'd be getting her own sub-arc and i listened to the demo on repeat, regularly searching for any covers I could listen to as well

I ended up actually buying the Stakes DVD, which was a first for me, but I wanted to support the official release. I loved it, I think I've seen the arc at least 8 times start to finish
I know that Adventure Time has ended, but I haven't actually seen the finale yet. I'm glad Marceline got a happy ending, and I'm glad i was able to look up to her as I grew into myself. I'm grateful for her existance as a character and I hope other parts of this show mean as much to other people as Marceline did to me

tl;dr: I like Marceline and she was a staple as I matured. I'm grateful for a bisexual emotionally complex character in a kid's cartoon. She helped me a lot
