Backstory stuff:
Coldfire is the second prince of Teltundra, an empire consisting of three kingdoms under one monarch. From the beginning, the Tundra dragons were tyrants. Hungry for power, they encased three countries in a merciless snowstorm and forced the citizens to submit to them lest they starve or freeze to death.
Coldfire wanted nothing to do with the tyranny, especially after living under the heartlessness of his father, King Severus. He continually fled his responsibilities and even broke the law by secretly falling in love with a foreign dragoness (a crime punishable by death because it taints the bloodline's purity).
Severus found out and executed her, and after failed an attempt to kill his father in revenge, Coldfire fled the country.

Through a series of events, Coldfire met and fell in love with Giranja ( @Spectral-Ashwood's OC). He lost half his left arm and his shifting powers during their adventures. Coldfire later returned to Teltundra with Giranja and became engaged to her, defeated King Severus (because he had gone insane), and won back his powers. Rather than becoming the crown prince, his sister Sterling chose to inherit the throne, possibly alongside Sir Regus, their father's former second-in-command. In the meantime, Coldfire will be on the run with Giranja, again.

Markings:
Magically engraved on Coldfire's shoulder is his kingdom's emblem, a dragon with a horizontal sword. It grants him the power to summon an ancient family heirloom which can reshape into a variety of weapons and items. The symbols around the dragon and up to his neck are a recent addition. Though each mark means nothing on their own, the collective message represents "passion." (How the Tundra's written language works would require an entirely separate post so I won't describe how that works.)

Tattooed on his back is a flaming skull with a dragon's head at the bottom. It illustrates an unspoken part of his past.

Coldfire has a couple scars here and there, though none of them are especially significant apart from his stump left arm.

Prosthetic:
Coldfire's mechanical left arm was invented by a professional bio-mechanic from Giranja's kingdom. Its movements are incredibly life-like to the point where each plate is designed to bunch up like muscles when he flexes. To make things easier for drawing, I based each plate's position on the layout of the arm muscles.
