random earwig design of sorts.
(somewhat based on the european earwig, forficula auricularia)
also, contrary to myth, earwigs actually dont seek out ears to get in. theyre no more likely to end up in your ear than any other bug, and they /definitely/ dont lay eggs in ears.
*they also dont stand up like the earwig on the left in this pic.

I get these creatures all over where I live. They're not my favorite, but I don't mind them. Mostly because they don't want anything to do with me, unlike some other invertebrates where I live (I hate ants). Anyway I love the way you draw bugs lol nice art

Oh man I love earwigs! Even tho that might be kinda weird >v> When I was a kid, I'd call them wiggies, and I loved patting down their heads so they'd try to poke me with their little pincer tails like a scorpion but harmless lmao
