this is Barley Rayvon! Unlike most of my characters, she had a pretty normal past but it's what happens to her where her true trauma lies

Barley's a transgender Arod who's lived in Destleworn her whole life. At first, she was extremely reclusive and very quiet, but when she started dating Venus she gained a lot more confidence in herself and her body.
(Venus is a rich Tytho who's a refugee from his family and his home country. He hates being rich and doesn't like to talk about himself)
When they went to Innterlott in search of Coen, Venus sacrificed himself to save Barley from a huge fire, resulting in Venus' death and extreme burns on Barley's face. She unintentionally caused the disease by feeling awful after causing (sort of) his death. This is the reason her final (and last) form made her look demon-ish because that's how she felt inwardly
