Hank and Trigger are not his only children, nor was Lillie his only wive. He's almost a thousand years old and literally sent all of his former children and wives to Innterlott (where they got hunted by the B.H's.), as he did with Trigger, and soon after Hank (when Trigger was presumed dead)
