Relaxing in the Shade by Penplat
Putting this in #wc350, because why not?
Wanted to make another piece with a backdrop. Making the background of this one was actually quite relaxing, and I’m pretty happy with how it turned out. Hope you all like it too!

Since I am under the impression that Alan and Collin are always doing their adventures, it's surprising to see them just relaxing.
I really like the 3D on the picture. Especially the leaves on the tree. :D

I've also found drawing nature backgrounds to be quite relaxing. Great job on the loose, painterly setting!

Re: It is great to actually be able to compare old drawings. If you see the playback on that drawing, you can see the really old sketch I made vs. how I modified it.
And you are absolutely correct. Exaggerated expressions are a blast. Although I find them difficult to draw from time to time.
