Here some basic information on the Meilidonis.

The Meilidonis are native to a desert land, and preferred food is cactus.

General height-- 9-10 ft (female) 7-8 ft (male)

Expected lifespan-- three hundred years

Blood color-- bright sky blue

Abilities--

the Meilidonis do not have magic powers but instead they rely upon their own natural defenses, they have
Retina searing fun (flashy colors, BRIGHT LIIIGHTS) to intimidate predators and warn them that they are dangerous.

They can Flash there marking to stun predators or to get something attention, the Meilidonis also flash their markings to communicate long distance to one another like Morse code.

The Meilidonis are not know to be aggressive but do have means and defending themselves, there bright coloring is a warning to others that they taste bad, and they have different defensive powder.

Their wings and some of there scales on their back make a Butterfly like powder that they use as defensive, the effect of the powder is different for each
Meilidonis, some powders can inflict poison, paralysis, sleep, Etc...
