This is Ithis, my merman.
His kind of merfolk can dry out and take a human like form. But must give up a trait to do so.
With Ithis that's his voice. Rendering him mute on land.

Now usually Ithis is a sweet giving creature, EXCEPT he's easily frustrated. Especially when he's muted.
Sometimes he'll dunk people just to talk to them. TvT
