A new light, horizon, the endless and vastness of life is so intriguing. We reach this new light in hopes to understand and grasp the truth, though it all ways seems to flow further away, presenting itself in new forms and challenges. All things come to and end, or are the endless like a horizon? When something stops a new one is brought forth, in an infinite cycle. In that sense, perhaps when we think we find a new horizon, that it is actually the same one as before, it just changes so much that it appears anew, as one flies across these endless skies called life.

almost all of the contests ever since i joined i've checked out and i've always enjoyed seeing who wins and sometimes seeing unexpected results

i hope it doesn't get fully discontinued

I really want to enter in this, and I have a great idea for an entry, but my inability to improve with my style at a rapid pace and lack of knowledge on how to execute the painting prevent me from doing it.

This is absolutely gorgeous! I've always been a sucker for sunset/sunrise pictures. I love how you can see wisps of the clouds coming off the dragon's wings, too!

So this is the final weekly challenge for awhile? I hope it comes back someday. There was only one weekly challenge I took part in, but I always entertained the idea of doing another challenge piece. It was great seeing submissions for the challenges, too.

Good luck in the challenge! This piece is a strong contender in my opinion.
