Hades is a Shadow chaos familiar, like all chaos familiar he can speak on his own... Isaac doesn't really like him doing this because Hades has a habit of speaking what really on his anchors mind, as Isaac is usually really quiet but Hades is not.

Hades I'm sure you can tell is a Cerberus, 3 headed familiar tend to run in his family line, as his mother had a Hydra with 3 heads.
