Haha... I totally know where you are coming from. It's mostly a ball ache, but every now and then you make a right choice and it's like the best thing ever. Gutsy choices here. The addiction is strong with this one! :D

Really nicely done. You've got a great eye for color value. I also like the contrast between the tight-looking details and the looser brushstrokes.

Lol, ball ache, thats exactly what it is sometimes.
Ya know, I think it gets exhausting because I just want to draw but won't think about, what I'm drawing. So I always try to force something, to look how it should, without understanding, why its looking like that on the reference.
It's exactly the thing, you wrote about in the forum. Absolutly great "article" by the way! :)
