Renegade's father however always won. A new leader took over one of the rival herds and had been gaining mares and foals like a spreading wildfire. The leader challenged Renegade's father and won, but his mother rebelled and ran taking Renegade and other mares with her. The rival stallion chased them down angry that he wasn't king. Renegade ran and ran ordered to do so by his mother. As he ran, he was separated and went over a cliff. As he tumbled and reached the bottom, their was barbed wire. It tore him up, a man, a weapon and armor designer found him nearly dead, tangled scared and starved, designed him his armor and nursed him back to health. He then was set free. Rendgade is blind in his right eye and is reluctact to remove his armor due to the scares.
