To explain a bit, Goliath here is the leader of a race of people known as Dragonkin. They share a bond with good dragons, and in exchange, they share their wisdom and secret abilities with the Dragonkin. They usually live alone in a secluded place, but will sometimes go and help people. ( cont. )

But not everyone likes Dragonkin. They see them as monsters, like dragons. Waiting for them to let their guard down so they can strike...
There's one group of individuals who seek to destroy the Dragonkin: The Noir Knights. They frequently try to attack them, claiming that getting rid of them is the path to true peace in the land.
As a result, the Dragonkin fight back, both experiencing casualties.

Noir Knights use enchanted armor and weapons that are strong against dragons. Thus putting Dragonkin at a disadvantage.
Wanting this to end, Goliath goes out to find someone who could help them in their time of need.. To keep his people, his family safe. Even if it means sacrificing his own life.

That being said, as much as I love Dragons, I haven't a doubt in my mind I would actually be terrified of them, & anything related to them; so, that could be a little bit of hypocrisy there on my end. Whoops. Lol. x'D
