--------------What Exactly Is A DreadFowl--------------

DreadFowls are the root of all corruption, they are strong and powerful creatures that love to cause chaos. They're scattered across the universe, reeking plenty of havoc on many species and planets. Thought they mostly prefer to be by Sylyore, where all the strongest and most powerful DreadFowls love to stay.

They live off of eating things when in their Feral forms and corrupting, possessing or haunting things around them.

Though they are evil, they don't always act horribly evil unless agitated.

--------------Different Forms They Take--------------

DreadFowl have many forms but they use these 5 forms for certain reasons.

>>>Feral Forms<<<

DreadFowl Feral forms are mainly for eating or to seem less powerful then they are. They have no eyes and a large beak with no teeth and they spit webs, as you see in Onaya. They can look and differentiate however they want in their Feral form but they always have that same head, some type of wings or frills, 4 legs a stubby tail and they always will have their beak held together by soft extra tissue. their Saliva is very acidic and they eat things alive using it.
>>>Shadowy Forms<<<

This form is the closest to their true form, they look like shadowy figures sort of like humans. They use this form to spy on things or hide from things. It isn't used for much but they do look pretty terrifying and distorted.

>>>Possessive<<<

This is the form they take to possess someone, meaning they'll take their hosts body completely. They form into a corrupted looking Crystal and lure innocent minds near them by whispering in their heads. Once their chosen host is close enough, they will force all their energy into the body of the host, taking it's brain, and everything else into their control. they can then shape into whatever form they wish or keep the body in it's original shape. However many physical changes such as distorted wings, a shadowy aura and glowing ominous eyes will happen. Along with spikes and extra appendages. They can change to look however they please. DreadFowl are the most powerful when taking a host's body.
>>>Haunting<<<

DreadFowl will often lure their targeted host into seemingly killing them. They float up as black particles and then reform into a shadowy looking version of their Feral Forms. This is when they will Haunt their host, meaning they'll take control but not all control. They do this out of boredom and curiosity usually. The DreadFowl will force itself into the host's body through the eyes, ears, nostrils and mouth or any other holes in their head. They will then take over their brain partially so they can 'live' in the hosts mind. The DreadFowl will usually tease their host and drive them to insanity by talking to them in their own minds and can change them physically but not very drastic changes, just making the host look a bit decayed or worn, something with glowing eyes. Some DreadFowls are more gentile and will just tease them occasionally and mock them. Others decide to make the host's life a living nightmare.
>>>True Forms<<<

This Form is what they truly are and truly look like. The Distortedness, lack of eyes and shadowy aura is in this form but they look more like a human figure attached to their Feral form's body, they look like sort of a Centaur.

They're capable of traveling without portals, not needing to breath, eat or sleep. They are massive in this form, their head alone is about the size of Earth. however they can be smaller, whatever size they want. Either way they are very dangerous and powerful in this form.

--------------Possessing And Haunting--------------

Though I think I've given a decent idea of what these are, I feel it needs it's own section.

As you know DreadFowl are capable of Haunting and Possessing their host but it isn't like anything involving souls n stuff, it's more of them being a parasite, corrupting their minds and bodies.

They're goal is chaos and they never will do what their host asks, usually the opposite. They advise the host on how to not die and not be stupid to taunt or mock them and usually point out the obvious. When Haunting they are capable of still controlling the host's body. They can stop the host's heart, knock them out, make them beat themselves up or even make their vision blur and give them hallucinations. They can do pretty much whatever they want to their host.

In Possessing however, they take over the body and the host is put to rest temporarily. They will be trapped underneath all the corruption and basically in a coma till the DreadFowl is driven out of them by fake death or just losing interest. The host will wake up with a few wounds, very red eyes and the inability to move or talk at first. This paralysis usually lasts a few seconds or up to 5 hours. It can slowly improve or just suddenly be normal. All they can do is look straight out and listen to things, they aren't even able to move their eyes.

When the DreadFowl leaves it's possessed host, some corruption can still linger and the host can become insane and fall into the corruption. The DreadFowl will form into particles again and either go off to eat or find another host or usually if it faked death, it will go into it's True form and continue to torture what supposedly killed them or just say 'hah you didn't kill me' and leave after scarring the one that attempted to kill it.

--------------Which Characters are Known DreadFowls?--------------

Currently only 4 characters are known DreadFowls, I'm only mentioning 3 at the moment because 1 of them no one will know about except Spec.

>>>Onaya<<<

This one is... obvious. But other then identifying these 3 as DreadFowls but also this is info on them as DreadFowls instead of what they were previously described as.

So... first off, this is how these info things will work.

----Character Info Example----

Name

Age

Who they're currently Possessing or Haunting

Personality/Behavior

What Form they're best known for

----NOTE: Some Ages are Currently Undetermined----

So that's how their ref sheets are as DreadFowls.

Here's Onaya's:

"The Unique DreadFowl"

Onaya

A little more then 10 Trillion years

Possessing no one, has only possessed a human child before out of boredom. She prefers to be herself.

Onaya is one of the more unique DreadFowl. Dralius had put her on earth for her to find a good host but she only took the form of candy, seeing a lot of humans enjoying it. She lured many humans into a forest and ate them alive. Onaya is one of the more cheerful and constantly happy ones but loves to act terrifying on occasion. She prefers looking like candy because it seems to lure in so many things. Dralius brought her back to Sylyore in disappointment that she couldn't help Onaya choose a host. Maybe she will one day...

She's known as the nut and hyper DreadFowl that acts like she ate a lot of what she appears as. She prefers to be her feral form and to look like this.
>>>Dralius<<<

I'm sure after you guys read about their crystal form that you realized Dralius was a DreadFowl so if you did then good job for remembering about her backstory x'D

"First Known DreadFowl"

Dralius

Around 5 trillion years

Currently Possessing Orcus's mother, has full control over her.

Dralius is one of the younger DreadFowl, rather immature and full of herself. However she is quite powerful for her age, the same size as a DreadFowl that's 15 trillion years old. She's cocky and loves to "play" around with her victims. She's grown very strong and is the only DreadFowl to have held on to a body for so long. Once Dralius dies, the queen will be free and not remember anything except events before she was 'possessed'.

Dralius is known for this form but by her fellow DreadFowl she's known as her shadowy form when not possessing or haunting anyone.

>>>Nagalo<<<

Now... I think I know what some of you are thinking. If Nagalo is a DreadFowl then how is he seemingly the opposite of evil?! Well... He's technically evil but prefers not to be.

"The Curious DreadFowl"

Nagalo

15 Trillion years (oldest DreadFowl ever and they're an immortal species so...)

Nope Nagalo has no current Host. He prefers to just lay on his mountains and watch over things, curious of everyone and all they are doing. Being so old, he got bored of chaos so he now is like a friendly rival to Dralius, like they have friendly fire between eachother.

Nagalo as I said is one of the more curious ones. He enjoys being the only technically "good" DreadFowl though he doesn't stop any DreadFowl from having their own fun, just tricks the residence of Sylyore that he hates them and stuff.

Nagalo took the form of 2 species he enjoyed seeing on the island, Chinaka and Dolonia. He calls himself a hybrid of those two things only and says his size is from being ancient. This is because he doesn't want anyone to know he's a DreadFowl from their often horrible nature. So he stays hidden as an ancient dragon that just appeared. He tricked many things into thinking he was always there since the island first formed. The only things that aren't tricked are the other DreadFowl themselves.

--------------Usual Behavior--------------

Well as you know they are the root of corruption, prefer to reek havoc and cause chaos but they all have this curiosity of things.

>>>Common Curiosity<<<

DreadFowl have this curiosity, usually of what it's like being in different hosts or what happens when they corrupt certain things. Or they just go in their Shadowy form and observe things.

They make it a goal to try every possible type of host and try many methods of haunting or possessing them. And even will appear as friendly when in their shadowy form.

(That's about it. More DreadFowls may be revealed soon but for now, this is it.
Enjoy! And thank you if you read it all x'D)

(meaning I'm done)
