I can't rewrite what I did all over again, so I'll just talk about his main traits, trivia, and what I think he'd think of Nero.

Mystic is a powerful and well known Wizard who worked very hard to get to where he is currently. He used to do a lot of adventuring in his youth and secretly wants to be out there traveling again.
He is very ambitious and invested in his goals but this can lead to him being too stubborn. He's pretty serious and matter of fact, but is actually really sweet if you get to know him. Around Emory most of his postitive traits come out. He loves his daughter more than anything. (Good Dad!)

-Trivia-

-Mystic is a single father. His wife died when Emory was born. He does not blame her for this, but still occasionaly laments over it.

-He owns a Pheonix named Artemis. The two have a close bond.

-Is secretly insecure he can't grow any facial hair.

As for Nero, Mystic would be very protective of his daughter until seeing that Nero isn't out to harm her. Then he'd probably just keep a close eye on her so she doesn't get hurt.
