Ana: *is composing love poetry to Sargon*
Sargon: *sighs*

Sargon: 'Come. Let us go and destroy more humans.'
Ana: *stars in her eyes* 'Ooh Sargon, I will follow you anywhere...'
Crowley: 'What a great day for murder!'
Ivy: 'IS THERE ANYONE NORMAL AROUND HERE?!' DX

Dianne: "No. They all deserve to die."
Jerry: "Way to prove her point, Dianne."
Dianne: "F u Jerry."

Ivy: *screams in rage* 'WELL, YOU KNOW WHAT? I'M GOING TO BE JUST LIKE THE REST OF YOU!!' *grabs a gun and starts shooting Sargon minions*
Ana: 'Master! That piece of filth is killing our people!'
Armin: 'Well, would you look at that. Ivy's not completely useless anymore.'
Ivy: 'Screw you, you freaking bloodsucker!'
Sargon: *kills Ivy*

(It's quiet in here...)

{As they fly towards the Sovereign, Steve seems quite troubled. He's fidgeting a bit and making a bit of a worried face.}

As Wendigo soared over the grasslands and countryside between the two cities, Armin leaned over and poked Steve's shoulder to get his attention. 'Hey, is something up? You look kind of worried.'

{Steve looked at Armin, trying to hide his anxiety.} "I just got the call that my daughter's been shot, Armin. I think that explains itself."

'Wait, hold on. Eliza was shot?' Armin obviously hadn't heard Eliza's name mentioned when Steve first showed up earlier. Now, he looked close to frightened. 'Did they say what happened? She'll be all right, won't she?'

{Steve looks a little puzzled.} "Didn't I say that? Anyway, apparently, your good friend Ana showed up and summoned ghosts, who picked up guns and started shooting....and she apparrently...caught a few.....They say she's alright, but I can't help but worry..."

'...She'll probably be fine,' said Armin after a moment's pause. 'If they say she's alright, then she must be.' He didn't say any more, but his expression of concern remained as he stared into the distance.

They were now approaching the city. Wendigo began to drop altitude as the city walls came into view. Sovereign was clearly the scene of a recent battle; the grasslands around it were burned and littered with the husks of crashed fighter planes, while the inner streets were filled with soldiers helping to collect the injured and dead.

As Wendigo came in to land, several people looked up and yelled in alarm, raising guns to shoot at them.

"Dammit!" {Steve exclaims.} "My brother said he's warn them first!"
{As he said that, Old Man Garvey comes running out, waving at the soldiers that these were the "Friendlies" He had told them about and to not shoot.}

Wendigo continued to fly down, not seeming worried by the soldiers pointing their weapons at him. He was, after all, a massive undead creature. Below, the troops looked suspiciously at Old Man Garvey, then nodded in acknowledgement and put away their guns. They continued to watch mistrustfully as the hydra landed in front of the palace.

Armin immediately jumped down and looked around. 'Where's the others? Eliza and Jerry and...' He paused for a second in trying to remember Ivy's name. '...Ivy?'

{Steve gets off in a hurry.} "Sam, where's my daughter?"
Old man: "This way. She's in a room in the Palace."
{The Old Man walks into the palace with Steve right behind him.}

Armin hastened after them both, falling into step slightly behind Steve. As they entered the palace, Ivy could be seen skulking in a corner. She'd gotten bored with listening to Jerry's drugged rambling and gone off by herself to explore. When she saw the others, she brightened slightly and joined them as they walked through the palace. 'Oh, you guys finally got over here? Nice.'

{Completely ignoring Ivy, Steve Walks into a room after the Old Man. There on the bed, under a sheet, was Eliza. She looked pale and opened her eyes weakly.} "Dad....."
{Steve hurried to her side.} "Hey, sweetheart....I'm here..."
{He takes her hand in his.}
Eliza: "Since when...could ghosts use guns?"

While Steve hurried over to talk to Eliza, Armin hung back a little. He didn't want to interrupt on the father-daughter reunion, though he didn't want to stay out the room entirely. He stayed by the doorway, hands in his pockets. //She's alright,// he thought with some relief.

Ivy had also come into the room, looking distinctly put-out at not being spoken to by anyone. Like Armin, she hung by the door while Steve greeted his daughter.

(KING MAKES AN APPEARANCE)

{After a brief discussion, ending with Steve telling his daughter to rest, Steve walks over to the medic who treated her and started asking about her treatment.}

Once Steve had walked away, Armin slowly went over to a chair near Eliza's bedside and sat down, staring at the ceiling. He said nothing, not wanting to disturb her if she was tired and needed sleep. Ivy eyed them both, then made a quiet, amused noise and sat down in a chair at the other side of the room.

'Sargon's army really is destroyed,' she said softly. 'There's nothing left - well, except a few goons that ran away, including Sargon himself. And his stalker.'

Armin nodded, then replied just as quietly, 'It's good to know he doesn't have an army anymore.'

(Yaaaay, King's here!)

{Eliza didn't say anything, but stirred a littled with a pained expression.}

Ivy continued to reel off her account of the battle, explaining in detail how Sargon's army had been routed, with a creepily smug smile on her face the whole time. Armin wasn't paying her much attention anymore. Using Ivy's voice as a cover so nobody else would hear him, he said to Eliza: 'Hey, you sure you're OK?'

Meanwhile, outside, Wendigo was sitting quietly in a town square, enjoying the looks of terror on peoples' faces when they noticed him.

{Eliza didn't open her eyes, but spoke.} "I'm fine....Just in...lots of pain...And sleepy....."

'If you're in a lot of pain, they obviously didn't give you enough anaesthetic,' said Armin, half to himself. 'But I'm glad you're OK. We were... worried.'

{Eliza cracks her eyes.} "I know....Sorry to worry you guys..."
{Eliza reaches out and touches his hand.}

Armin glanced down in surprise, then took Eliza's hand in his own and squeezed it lightly. 'That's alright... This is war. we're all taking risks.'

(Lol, computer died.)

{Eliza just seems to doze off from there, smiling and holding hands.}

(RIP computer.)

Suddenly realising how tired he was himself, Armin leaned back in his chair and closed his eyes, keeping his hand intertwined with hers.

Ivy grinned almost fondly at the sight of them, then got up and tiptoed out of the room. /She/ wasn't exhausted at all, and fully intended to spend the rest of the morning exploring the palace.

(Hmm, what to do now...)

(Hmm.... Well, Ivy and Wendigo are free if you have anyone to interact with them. I don't have any plans for anyone right now. XD)

(I'm going to be busy doing some other things now, but I'll continue to check in every so often. I just won't be here the whole time.)

(I'm gonna write a couple of things for Ana and Sargon in the meantime. X))

The Mountain Region was not a place for humans. Ruled by three tribes of dragonshifters, it was a harsh realm, known for its frequent heavy rain, snows and unforgiving cold during winter.

Ana was a large dragon, even without her original body, so it didn't take her long to reach the border of the Mountain Region. Swooping down to land in a small valley, she crouched down and waited for Sargon to get off her back. Her worried eyes never stopped following him as he dismounted, then looked around, checking that there were no foreign dragons nearby.

'It should be safe here for now,' he announced.

Ana nodded distractedly, hardly paying attention. 'My Lord, are you sure you're all right?' she fretted. 'That filthy human and his gun--'

'I am fine, Ana. Any damage will be healed in a few hours.' Looking a little impatient, Sargon sat down on a flat rock and gazed in the direction of Sovereign City, though it wasn't visible from where they were. 'I am more concerned about our people. How many survived, do you think?'

Ana hesitated. 'My Lord... I believe I saw several injured dragons fleeing the city. None of them carried riders, and none of them followed us. As for the troops we left behind in Shacklestone...'

Sargon nodded. 'They are most likely all dead too, if Dianne has taken over the city. I'm sure she must still be there; I never saw her during the battle.'

The pair subsided into a grim silence.

{As Wendigo stood about, the Old Man approached him. Looking up at his towing form, he speaks.} "So. Dianne's been busy. What are you, anyway? An amalgamate dragon?"

Wendigo looked around blankly, not knowing who had just spoken. Then he looked down and saw the Old Man there. 'Huh? What does that mean? I have no idea. I just call myself a hydra.' He grinned toothily.

{The Old Man nods and looks him over.} “Ok, that works. Why did she make you? What use could she have for such a massive construct?”

'To tear Sargon's army apart, of course!' grinned Wendigo. 'There's another hydra besides me. His name's Titan. We're really good at carrying things, too. Like other draugrs, and dump trucks, and weapons... We're like multi-purpose heavy-duty tanks.'

{The Old Man nods.} "That's great and all but...Sargon doesn't have an army anymore. I suppose you can still destroy him once we find him."

Wendigo snorted indignantly. 'What, so you're saying that now his army is dead, I don't have a purpose anymore? I can find plenty of things to do! And Fred and I aren't gonna stop until we've killed Sargon. /Personally./'

{The Old Man chuckles.} "Of course I wasn't. After all, Sargon flew towards the mountains. We may be needing you more than ever now."

'Well, you just remember what I'm capable of!' said Wendigo, his three pairs of eyes staring down at the Old Man from his enormous height. 'By the way, how's everyone doing? I know that Eliza was injured. Is she OK? And what about everyone else?' He turned to glare at the palace. 'All these places are too small for me to get inside.'

"Well, Eliza's going to be ok. Jerry caught one in the side, but he's fine. Little loopy though. Other than that, everyone else is fine. How's everyone on your end?"

'Uh, OK, I think,' replied Wendigo. 'I'm pretty sure nobody got hurt back in the city, though something happened with Dianne just before we left. She tried to brutally murder some werewolf guy's girlfriend, but everyone talked her out of it. Other than that, nothing really happened.'

{The Old Man tilts his head.} "Really? Why'd you have to talk her out of it?"

'Eh, man, I don't know really...' Wendigo considered for a moment. 'The girl wasn't really evil. I think that her and her boyfriend got forced into Sargon's army, just like Armin and Fred were. They didn't deserve to be killed. And Dianne wasn't going to show them any mercy.'

{The Old Man chuckles.} "Heh, I'm surprised she listened to you at all. She seems pretty stubborn. How'd you do it?"

Wendigo shrugged. 'I dunno. We just asked her not to. Said that if she killed an undeserving person, it would make her no better than Sargon. I guess she didn't want to be a monster.'

{The Old Man nods.} "Hm. Good to know. How come she's not here?"

'She stayed in Shacklestone. Don't know exactly why. Maybe there were still things she had to take care over there.' Wendigo glanced over his shoulder towards Shacklestone, as if he could see it from that distance. 'I'm sure she'll be here soon, though.'

"Eh." {He shrugs.} "She should take her time. Given how everyone's been looking at you once you arrived, not sure how welcoming they'll be to a full blown necromancer."

'Yeah, maybe that's true. Though, at least Dianne LOOKS mostly human. I came in here as a horrifying three-headed giant dragon thing. Maybe that's why they were scared.' Wendigo grinned in a way that suggested he enjoyed seeing people scared of him.

"Yeah, well, she'll still stand out. Plus, she's got a...'killer personality.' That being said, let's hope the king doesn't meet her and say or do anything stupid."

Wendigo gave a snort of laughter. 'Yeah, I heard the king of this place is a real coward. I don't think he'd say anything stupid if he met her, though - he'd probably just run really, really fast in the other direction.'

{The Old Man rubs his head nervously.} "Yeah, here's hoping. The last thing we want is to have this whole city as our enemy."

'They'd be real assholes if they tried to kill us now,' said Wendigo. 'They wouldn't even know that Sargon was coming if it weren't for us warning them...'

"True." {He says.} "They probably won't, we helped save hundreds of lives." {After a short pause, he continues.} "Where do you think Sargon got off to?"

'Uh, I'm not really sure.' Wendigo glanced around as if looking for some clue. 'I think he and Ana took off somewhere to the north... But probably not, because they wouldn't go anywhere near Shacklestone. You should get a map sometime and look at the most likely places they might be.'

{The Old Man nods.} "Yeah, I'll do that. When we find him, we should all go. He's hurt us all, so we should all be there when he dies."
