re: i don't have a name for his species but it's like
some sort of cat-like species found on a desert planet named dust star (where me and my friend headcanon meta nerd met them)
they're both the same species actually, however, they are "defects" among the rest of their kind, blade being the much worse defectant with only one eye, hair growing in clumps rather than a short and smooth layer, and hes somewhat emotionally weak
meanwhilst sword's more physically weak, and uh
well he's a lot better off than blade in terms of defectancy but-
his horns on his head are super sensitive and if they're roughly touched it hurts. and if they're broken then mORE PAIN
and if you struck him on the back of the head towards the base of the horns he'd go into complete shock so um yeah
