@Blood, everybody woke up finding they forgot much of their past, although it seems to be different per person, we met this lil kit, whose name I can never remember rip. TvT Anyway, we fjnd out people have been disappearing, and we are now locked in a room. Albeit resting. Feel free to fill in missing details, bc I don't do the best summary's. :')

Pyra awoke to bright beams of light shining in through a few small windows lining the walls of the room, and a half eaten peice of bread lying on her face. She flicked it off and remembered she had somehow fallen asleep while eating the night before. She sat up, and saw everyone else in various parts of the room beginning to wake up.

{Caminus was still sitting on the bed, looking at Pyra.} "Sleep well?"

Jessy woke up slowly, yawning and stretching. She had fallen asleep on the floor where she was leaning.

“I think so.” Pyra responded to Caminus. She felt wide awake now, and now began considering forcing her way out of the room if no one came to let them out soon.

(Oof nvm,) Liola woke up and stretched. Her spot was comfortable and she did not feel like moving. She lay down again and rested while she waited for everyone else to wake up.

Parker stretched his arms and listened as his joints popped. Areo had stayed outside when they entered the small house. He immediately went to the window and looked out to see Areo sitting on a branch pruning his feathers.

(Hey kole! It's alright! Only by seventeen minutes XD)

Jackle hadn't slept much, he was leaning against the wall, Snowball was asleep in his jacket. He looked around the room they were in, //Hmm, what now?// Jackle thinks to himself

{Caminus looks down.} "That's good....Umm, I really don't know what I am, but.....I apparently don't sleep....This one big eye hole thing doesn't close.....I have no eyelid..."

Pyra excitedly sprung up upon hearing footsteps approach down the hallway. The doorknob shook, and two cat guards entered the room, with another huge cat behind them. As he entered, she remembered him from the previous day. He had taken Rudy under his arm and ordered the beasts to be taken to this room, “My apologies for locking you in here.” he announced, “Rudy has informed me of everything.”

{Caminus just watches curiously.}

Parker looked over his shoulder slowly, deciding to stay silent. As he turns to look at the two cats he leans against the wall and crosses his legs at the ankle. His red hair catches the sunlight and makes it look as if his head is on fire.

Liola popped upright, wide awake as the cat walked in. She had an unreadable look on her face.

Pyra nodded, “ I should introduce myself.” the cat added, “You may call me Chief Snaggle. I’m in charge of all that goes on here in Smallfin village.” A grim expression came over his face, “I wish for your assistance in finding the creature that ruthlessly murdered so many of my people.”
A chill swept through Pyra’s body as she remembered the horrific scene they had found the night before. She would never get the image of all those bodies out of her mind.

"We probably should anyway." Liola nodded. She'd rather start with enough daylight, than later. The night is not to be underestimated.

Parker watches Raiden stand up and he pushes off the wall, staring at him,
"i agree with the kangaroo. I mean if we can find this guy I say we do." He runs a hand through his hair, making the front stick up a bit.

(oof im actually too tired to rp today... ugh... sorry guys...)

{Caminus stands.} "I'll help any way I can, Chief Snaggle. Is Rudy ok?"

(Aw, okay Ranch. Get some rest :3 )

“He’s still in a state of shock due to yesterdays events.” Snaggle sighed.. As he spoke, a small cat rushed into the room. Two guards grabbed him and pulled him back, but he punched and kicked them furiously. As he escaped their grasp, pyra quickly realized who it was.|”Rudy! I told you stay put.” Snaggle said angrily.|”Let me come. Please. You’ll let me come, won’t you?” Rudy said, turning to the beasts. “I need to find Wren.”

Ah, sorry about the random “|” symbols in my comment. My phone won’t let me indent for some reason and I thought that would work. Guess not.

Liola gazed at him for a little bit. "It's most likely dangerous."

(brb, probably)

"Bad idea, Rabbit." {Caminus states coldly.} "Whatever did that must have been quite formidable. A kitten like Rudy would be helpless against that thing. It's better if he stays here."

Parker glares at Raiden, then watches as the little cat fights, admiring his determination to find his brother.
"Yeah, I say he comes with us." Parker looks outside again wanting the usual weight of Areo on his shoulder.

Rudy grinned at Raiden, and Snaggle stared at the two of them. Snaggle placed a hand over his face and sighed, “You have a point.” he finally said. “Rudy is old enough to make his own decisions. Although I advise against it, Rudy, you may tag along if you wish.” Rudy hugged Snaggle, and immediately rushed off, “I’ll be back shortly! I’ll get my stuff.” Rudy said cheerfully. Snaggle turned back to the beasts, “Please keep him safe. I’ve promised someone dear to me I wouldn’t let anything happen to him.”

{Caminus sighs.} "Very well. If he insists on coming, we will protect him to the best of our abilities. {He steps a little closer to Snaggle.} "I'll need a weapon"

Liola nodded her head to Snaggle. Her mind spun with possibilities of plans and such. "I hope you know the responsibility this brings on us. What if we were to get in a fight, and all he does is get in the way? I hope you know what you're doing Raiden." She hadn't meant to say it out loud. But she'd rather voice her worries. They might just have a good way to remove them.

Parker smiles down at the small cat as it scampers off. He raises his hand up and tightens his leather bracelets, flexing his fingers, and turning his wrist as he does.

Snaggle nodded at Caminus, “I have my guards preparing weapons and gear as we speak. You’re welcome to head outside if you like. They’ll meet you shortly with everything you’ll need.” Snaggle headed into the hallway, and led the group to the main room. Pyra shook nervously, unable to even remember the last time she had gone on a mission like this.

{Caminus follows, but notices Pyra shaking. Putting a large metallic hand on her shoulder, he speaks.} "Hey, are you ok? You're shaking."

Parker wants nothing but to run outside at this exact moment, and get out of this house, but he doesn't and decides to follow a few beats behind the group. He watches as everyone talks to everyone else, but he doesn't really jump in to talk with anyone. Parker's been alone for as long as he can remember. Except for Areo of course. Areo been by his side since he was a kid.

Pyra seems caught off guard by Caminus, but calms down quickly, “I’m not sure we’re ready to face whatever it is thats out there.” she said.

"Ah, yeah, you're probably right. That would've most likely caused more trouble." She replied. But she still didn't have a way to block all listed problems.

{Caminus nods.} "I get that, but to be honest, if we don't deal with this, who will? This village of kitties might be doomed if not for us. We are ready for what's out there, I just know it. Why else would we have woken up from our forever box, at this exact moment, right when Rudy found us? I think this happened for a reason."

Parker listens to Caminus talk and casually reaches back to his back to make sure his dual blades are still strapped there. As he follows behind the girl named Liola, he can't help but wonder how they all ended up here at the exact same time. From outside he can hear Areo's familiar squawk and he shrugs his shoulders, fighting off a small chill that had creeped up his spine.

Liola reached back and pulled her hair forward, //my hair has gotten rather long...// She thought, tempted to cut it sometime. Probably after they defeated this beast.

Pyra immdiately felt comforted by Caminus. They were responsible for the lives of hundreds of villagers, “You’re right” she said after a moment of silence, “Thank you.”

As they spoke Rudy showed up with a backpack and sword in his hands. He had a new look of determination upon his face that Pyra hadn’t seen since they first met him yesterday. He had armor now as well, which must have been provided by Snaggle.
As Rudy entered, a group of cats in armor appeared behind him. Each of them wore matching armor, and most carried long, heavy swords. A few, however, had bows and arrows with them as well. A couple stepped forward, placing various weapons on the floor for the beasts to choose from. Another placed thick winter coats on the floor.

”As soon as you’re ready we’ll depart.” One of them said.

Parker watched each of the cats approach, each small in size and he could help but mumble, "oh look, the munchkins have arrived." He snapped his mouth shut, his goal was to try and not say anything insulting but obviously that failed.

Liola stepped forward and grabbed a sword, eyeing it as she held it out. She stepped back with it as she nodded to the smallfin cats in thanks.

(Since I forgot to specify, theres probably around ten or so warriors here ready to assist the beasts)

{Caminus walked right to the weapons. he took the biggest sword he could find, a bow, and plenty of arrows. Strapping them all on, he turns to everyone else.} "Well, I've got everything I need."

Pyra grinned at Parker’s remark. She studied the weapons, and grabbed a sword. She ran her hand along it, and immediately it became shrouded in fire. She examined it and seemed proud of herself.

Parker grabbed a coat that would hopefully not make Areo too angry and put it on. He fluffed the hood up and ran a hand through his hair again. Mumbling a thanks he goes back to the back of the group passing Raiden as he goes, looking at the multiple daggers on him.

Pyra glanced around, “Everyone ready?” She asked.

Caminus: "Yes."

Liola held her rather light sword up. She grabbed another knife and placed it in her boot in case of emergency. "I am."

Parker shrugged, remembering his dual blades he slips the coat off and slides the blades into both of his sheaths on his hips.
"Yeah. I'm good." He runs a finger over the gold hilt and then wraps his whole hand around it. Feeling the familiar weight, but yet still foggy on where his skills lay.

(I tend to put too much detail in XD)

Pyra nodded to the guards, and they stepped forward, opening the wide doors before them. Pyra exited, and was shocked for a moment by the sudden cold air. She felt a mix of excitement and fear as she stared at the mountain rising above the village.

{Caminus stepped out.} "Let's go. Let's find the creature responsible so I can make a sweet rug out of its pelt!"

“Yeah!” Rudy joined in with Caminus.

Parker walked out after everyone and immediately heard the flap of Areo's wings overhead. He shrugs his right shoulder and Areo flys down landing on his shoulder in an expert like way. He watches as Areo examines the coat and digs his claws in. Parker reaches up and scratches Areo's beak, and runs a finger over his feathered head. Areo lets out a squawk and spreads his wings out.

Liola followed within the group, caution in every step.

The group walked for awhile, following the scattered foot prints from yesterday night. Pyra kept glancing back at the village, seeing it begin to shrink away and become almost completely hidden by fog. A chill rippled through her as the bodies they found yesterday came into site. The warriors that accompanied them became uneasy, and she even noticed some of them become emotional upon seeing the bodies of their dead friends.

Parker shivered in his coat that was supposed to 'help'. Areo fluffed up his feathers and looked like a big fluff ball for a little while. After a while Parker was in stride with Liola and quietly mumbled,
"Does this coat make me look fat?" Areo tilted his head down at her. It was an attempt at lightening the mood, but was it a good attempt? Nope.

Liola gave him a questioning look and smirked a little. "Perhaps." She glanced at his bird as well. Curious.

{Caminus just stood around, gazing upon the scene.}

Parker sighed,
"Great. There goes my reputation down the drain. I mean you never hear about the fat kid being the hero." Areo squawked in agreement, and nuzzled against Parker's cheek. Parker ran a hand through his hair, and pets Areo's head.

Pyra watched Raiden, “Anything?” she asked. Rudy seemed frozen in shock again as he stared over the bodies, he sighed and waited expectantly for the beasts while rubbing a paw along his sword. He seemed determined to take revenge on the creature that may still have his brother.

Rudy perked up and eagerly followed, along with the warriors and Pyra. Rudy drew his sword, and glanced about in every direction.

"Ah, well, you know," she chuckled a little. "It's not like you're just some kid." She grinned. "You're a beast!"

{Caminus drew his sword as well and followed Raiden.} "Does anyone know exactly what it is we're hunting?"

Pyra shrugged at Caminus as she too, drew her sword. She reignited it by running her hand along it as she had done earlier. A powerful flame engulfed the entire sword, but she held it as though it were nothing.

Parker looks over at her and furrows his brow like he's confused. He looks down at himself,
"I don't look like a beast. I mean do you see any tusks?" He lifts his lips to reveal two rows of perfectly white straight teeth. Areo tilts his head at her again.

{Caminus tightened his grip on his sword, staying alert.} "Stay close, Rudy." {He whispers}

Pyra glanced at Rudy, who had his ears perked up. He stared ahead and twitched his whiskers. Pyra looked over to where he was staring. It was hard to see at first due to some pine trees, but she could see the faint outline of someone crouching down among the trees. Although she couldn’t see its face, she could feel its intense stare.

She shrugged. Clearly she was not good at joking. She held her sword out as the others did. She had to be careful.

Rudy seemed spooked, and stepped a little closer to Caminus.

Jackle just followed at the back of the group, listening to everyone's conversations. Snowball finally came out of his jacket, sprawling herself across his shoulders and yawning, "Mornin' sleeping beauty" Jackle says quietly and snickers.

Parker drew his dual blades and held them out in front of him, the right higher than the left. He shrugs the shoulder Areo's perched on and he takes off into the sky. The only sound that Parker can hear is the beating of Areo's wings, and the beating of his heart in his chest.

(I'm gonna have to go soon xp so if I disappear dont be alarmed XD)

{Caminus spots the outline.} "There." {He whispers.} "Do you see it?" {Putting his sword down, point first into the ground, he takes the bow off his back and notches an arrow, holding a few more in his bow-hand as he pulls the string back.}

The figure, upon seeing everyone approach, seemed to stand up now. It seemed tall, fairly close to her and the beast’s heights. She placed a hand on Rudy’s shoulder as he lightly shook. The figure’s stare became more intense.

(Aw okay Spiral :0 )

Liola squinted at the figure, something seemed off. Her brain raced trying to figure out what was bothering her.

{Seeing that they have been noticed, Caminus speaks out to the figure, never lowering his bow.} "We see you! Come out into the open!"

Parker stopped in his tracks and waited. Nothing like waiting for something to happen. Fear was locked in everyone of his pores.

Jackle stopped, after taking a few more steps, he raised a brow in silent question at the figure. Snowball craned her neck forward, narrowing her sharp eyes at the figure before them.

The creature walked forward, with its head hanging low. As it came in view, Pyra noticed it was one of the cat creatures. It had red fur, and amber eyes, just like Rudy. Rudy grinned, “Wen!! Its Wren!!” He dropped his sword and began to run forward, but Pyra grabbed his backpack and held him back. She noticed blood clumped in his fur, his fur was puffed out, and he had abnormally long claws. His eyes looked dead and emotionless.

Wren***

“That can’t be Wren.” Pyra muttered to Rudy, who tried to fight her.

Parker's eyes widen when he saw the cat and he involuntarily took a step back, his heart pounding harder from the adrenaline starting to kick into his body. Quietly he mumbles,
"Maybe it's just a costume?..."

{Caminus gazes at the creature, lining up a shot in case it attacks.} "Rudy...I don't think that's Wren...Not anymore."

(The last words ever uttered by Parker Shaw XD)

Jackle noticed the blood clumped in his fur first, he took a cautious step back.

Snowball's spines rose along her back and she raised up on Jackle's shoulders. "Hush" Jack whispers when he hears Snow growling, "We don't know what Wren might do, just stay on guard Snow" he pats his partner's head.

Wren lifted a hand, but the rest of his body remained entirely still. He stood for a moment, until finally lowering it. Pyra jumped as she heard a stick snap from behind the group. The lifeless bodies from before now stood behind them. They still looked empty and lifeless, and Pyra could only assume they were be controlled like puppets. Everything seemed eerily silent now.

Liola's eyes widened. This, this was not right. She took a prepared stance. They could, no, would, attack any moment.

(Sorry if I keep disappearing, I keep getting distracted TvT)

The hairs rose on the back of Jackle's neck as he noticed all the reanimated corpses, "Oh that's lovely" his ear twitched at Raiden's command. He moves back to the group, "Snowball get ready" he faces a few of the corpses, raising his arm and holding it out.

Snowball moved onto his outstretched arm, balancing herself with her wings spread out slightly. Her back arched like a cat's as she waited for Jack's next command.

{Caminus sees the bodies standing, growls, puts the bow away and takes up his sword.} "Draugrs!"

Pyra took a quick glance back at Wren, who now seemed to be enjoying this. His head was held high now, and he had his sword drawn. He lifted his hand in the air once again, and the heads of the surrounding creatures unnaturally snapped upward.

Only a second later, Wren snapped his fingers, and the silent clearing erupted into battle cries. The creatures charged forward, some even without weapons. Pyra shakily lifted her sword and swung at one that had come close to Rudy.

Liola had no regrets stabbing and cutting off a limb or two. They were already dead. Her face remained emotionless with a touch of pity, or sadness as she tangled with one.

{Caminus yells out to the other beasts.} "Listen up! These are draugrs! Hitting vitals won't do anything! We have to tear them apart!"

Jackle clenched his fist and his eyes started to glow as he activated his magical abilities. Right as the creatures rushed them, Snowball leapt off Jackle's arm, his magic manipulated her size and she crushed a couple corpses as her size grew. She was the size of a small house and focused on ripping up the two corpses with her claws.

Jackle couldn't move or fight while he powered her with his magic.

{Caminus leapt forward, stepping on the first puppet and crushing its head. Swinging his sword, he cuts through the next one rushing in.}

Pyra pulled Rudy behind her, and fought off as many of the creatures as she could. Three of them began to charge at her at once, and she could hardly hold them off. As she pushed them back with her sword, she felt the flame inside her growing stronger. She dropped her sword, and held her hands in front of her. She focused, and a powerful flame shot from from her hands, knocking the corpses to the ground. They stood up and attempted to crawl towards her, letting out hideous cries as they burned.

(Ah okay Kole!)

Liola rolled a dodged and got a puppet's leg. It's bones stopped her from going through. She staggered back, unbalanced at it pushed her. She took another swipe and left the sword in it's other leg as she managed to shift to her cougar form. She made a little jumped in delight, then quickky git back to the task at hand. She leapt for it's throat, she landed back on the ground with rotted flesh taste in her mouth, ugh.

*quickly *got oh man where's autocorrect when you need it.

{Caminus bounds over to Pyra, dispatching the crawling corpses brutally. When he was done, there were just bits of fur, bone, and bloodstains in the snow.}

More of the puppets made their way towards Pyra and Rudy. She created another flame in her hands, and began to shape it. It began to resemble some sort of four legged creature. It leaped from her hands and doubled in size. She closed her eyes, and realized when doing this she could see through its eyes and control it. She ran towards the surrounding puppets, knocking them to the ground and setting some of them on fire. As she opened her eyes, the flame she had been controlling vanished and she was back in her own body. She turned around to check on Rudy, and realized with a jolt he was nowhere to be seen.

She turned to Caminus, “Do you see Rudy anywhere?” She asked, terrified.

{Caminus was busy tearing a puppet apart with his bare hands when he looked over.} "What? He's not with you?!"

Pyra shot some flames at a couple more puppets, then looked at Caminus, “He’s vanished” She says.

{Caminus drops the bits of the puppet and starts looking for Rudy.} "Rudy! Where are you?"

Pyra glances towards Wren, who she had temporarily forgotten about. Rudy was approaching him from behind, getting quite close now.

(Since things have gotten slow and we’ve been going for awhile, maybe now is a good time to stop? We could end right here and pick up from this exact point next time, if everyone is okay with that.)

Liola continued to slash through two more puppets before her fatigue set in. She was tired as she set her eyes on her next attacker. //Hopefully I don't get sick from this// was all she could think as the blood sat on her claws and in her mouth, which was why she kept spitting into the snow.

(Completely fine with that.)
