I guess I am the one here to say the Hunger Games is very over rated as well as almost a direct rip-off of the 2001 movie Battle Royal, which not only did everything the Hunger Games does but did it better, it did more. It was also better itself. If you liked the Hunger Games then look into the movie it ripped off.

if you read the books, then saw the movie, the movie wasn't all that great. they left out too many important details and really failed at the 'Golden' cournacopia

I also think both the books and the movie are overrated, but I believe they are okay entertainment.

OMG I LOVE YOU this is one ofmy favorite books the film was directed by the wrong person i think but the director for catching fire is amazing

Suzanne Collins should've been sued, Hunger Games is a direct rip-off with Twilight thrown into it (TEAM PEETA! TEAM GALE! Just....SHUT UP.) The movie was hortibly executed...if you want to read the REAL Hunger Games, read Battle Royale which was released in Japan. Much better, but sadly released before you 'party rocking' 10 year old kids were born. And if you reply i'm jealous, or 'Haters gonna hate', that's just even more st upid. Have a nice day. -Dolce

So much love for this! Thank you all! To the people saying it's a Battle Royal ripoff...Collins had never even HEARD of it when she wrote the first book. I hadn't heard of it either, until all the talk. If you think about it, it's not that surprising that more than one person would eventually have an idea along the lines of this concept. The "team" crap was the fans. It got popular with Twilight and has carried into basically every young adult book, movie, and tv show. You don't have to like it, that's fine, but keep it legit. I also didn't post this with the intention of starting a debate over Hunger Games.
All that aside... I am really amazed that this has gotten into this week's best, and towards the top, too! You guys are awesome! I had a lot of fun drawing this, and figuring out the best ways to utilize the layers and depth.
