Maiya was born in Fanaete but due to her parents divorce, she moved away with her mother to Neige. Maiya is an aspiring dancer. Her mother saw potential in her and made her go into ballet. Maiya became a well-known ballerina and performed professionally after she finished school.
While growing up she never had a father figure and often blamed herself for her parents splitting. She started losing confidence, developed severe anxiety issues and eventually closed herself off to others. An older gentleman was her neighbor and often spoke to her as she went to and from school. Slowly she became accustomed to him talking to her and he would offer her sweets and other types of foods. Maiya never having a father figure slowly started to think of him as one and began to open up again. She started smiling again and being more expressive. But as she got older so did he and eventually, he passed leaving her alone and heart broken again. She didn't even get to say goodbye.
Goal: Wants to make the treacherous journey to Deaths temple, but to survive the trip she needs the help of a god so that she may enter the temple and ask Death if she can say goodbye before his soul departs forever.
Trivia:
- Maiya does have depression but its not as bad to the point of self-harm or thoughts of suicide.
- Maiya is based off a person I actually know.

I love the dual colored hair! Maiya is really cute! And her story is really heart felt! I hope she succeeds in her goal! >3<

xD well vengence & violence is the quickest way to "character development" xD So sadly it'll be a common thing to see. I know i've done it more often than not.
To avoid any more, you could always make an announcment about it.
I think your biggest problem is the fact of "battle abilities", their not a bad thing, just not necesary with most characters, For example, a god of war will most definitely have abilities or skills for battle, but a god of desire wouldn't have any use for that at all.
You might have to be extra hard on modding if you want this to become what you want it to become.
Characters don't need an ability made for battle, because it's not about fighting, just real life problems with real life people. A character driven slife of life of sorts.
xD i mean thats my understanding of the story now at least, i could be wrong.
