It started out as a lava version of the loch ness monster but it turned out to be more similar a lava lapras. I drew it as a fire creature for the #SPSummerFunContest

They swim through lava as if it was water and can be found inside volcanoes. As such, they have dark colored bodies covered in ash and soot. The shell is to protect them from falling debris if the volcano erupts. They also have small vents by their eye to let off steam/smoke and ocasionally fire
