Re: Thank you! I did mix the background to try to get the blur effect so I'm glad it was noticed. And those were meant to be clouds but I had such a difficult time drawing them. I'm not surprised if they do end up as rocks. XD

This drawing is awesome! I love the blue pillar of light and how the blue outlines the silhouette of the Dragon wolf.

Hm you can always try grabbing a pallette of the internet, basically use what you know about colors and all that stuff, which ones will contrast etc. Looking at a reference of animals always help, how spots look and grow against the coat, all that good stuff. Also simplification is always nice, if you have too many things on a character it can be hard to look at. :0

and ahhh my parents have two chihuahuas and i love/hate them. chihuahuas drive me insane. i dislike them to the point where merely being around them agitates me somewhat. (most of the time. on occasion theyre not d.ouches)
im sure not /all/ chihuahuas are little bratty hellspawns but most of the ones ive seen were/are... so theyre the only dog breed that i straight up dislike in general.

also YUSS whenever you ned a shot of inspiration, stroll through those artists' galleries (and liked lists!) and just take in all that GudArt(tm) lol
