Alright so I finally got around to doing Aamelia's backstory. I'm not gonna lie I had no idea where I was going to go with it, and I'm still not too sure if I'm happy with but eh. As you know I tend to go way overboard with my characters' stories XD
Anyway, I knew that I wanted Aamelia's story to be different from all of my other characters' backstory. She is one of my favorite characters and @bloodhybrid if you don't like something I'll change it :)
Where Ember is brave and caring and just a generally good guy, someone you can instantly connect with and get along with easily, Aquilo is more closed off and the suffer in silence type, he doesn't like to open up and tends to stay away from people.
Where Antinick has that jock attitude and thinks he knows everything and everyone with that smug smirk, Diana is just grumpy. There's really no other way to describe her XD Aamelia however is different from all of them; she's fake. Meaning her tough girl act is as I said, fake. She has closed off her heart, thoughts and past to everyone and everything.
Note: Ember and Aamelia have never met. I just needed someone she was 'explaining' this to. He seemed the ideal choice :)

Ember took a sip of his coffee and looked up over the rim at Aamelia, who hadn't even touched her scrambled eggs. They were sitting in a grungy diner off a little ways from the nearest town. The only other person in there was an old man at the bar who looked like he was asleep. Aamelia pushed her scrambled eggs around on her plate like she had been for the last twenty minutes. Ember sighed and sat his coffee cup down loudly, sending a couple of drops onto the table.
"Aamelia why did you ask me to meet you HERE of all places?" She looked up at him and raised a brow,
"I'll have you know this is a fine class diner." She said this as she swatted at least six flys away from her eggs. Ember looked at his coffee in disgust and pushed the mug away, mumbling,
"Right." Ember looked at her and asked, "how did you even find this place?" Aamelia smirked and winked at him,
"Little birdie told me about it when I was going through a small village." He nodded and smiled,
"How is your traveling going? I heard your headed north now." She nodded,
"Yeah, figured that since I hadn't hit anything interesting west, I figured I would try north, see what was up there." Ember nearly grabbed the coffee mug again but then stopped him self and instead asked,
"So why are you traveling?" He sensed the static in the air before she even tensed, and was about to say never mind when she spoke,
"Family issues." She closed the conversation off as quickly as it started, but Ember was determined now find out why.
"What kind of family issues?" A small downpour started outside and a stray lightning bolt darted across the sky, followed by a rumble of thunder that shook the glass. The old man startled awake and looked at his wrist watch, Aamelia watched as he hurried out of the door and into the downpour, after a few moments she spoke again,
"Just you know, family issues... Mommy and daddy issues, you would know all about that wouldn't you?" Ember tensed and the room started the warm around him, his upper lip twitching. He took a deep breath and said,
"Yes, but we're not talking about me, now are we?" Aamelia wanted to scream at him for his calm attitude, yell at him about how stupid he was, how oblivious, but instead she smirked and said,
"Ah yes. Well my past isn't for the faint of heart, child. So you really don't want to hear it." Ember narrowed his eyes,
"I'm not a child, I'm
nearly twenty and I figured that that is why you called me here today. To finally let all of your secrets go and tell me what's on your mind." Aamelia laughed, but it wasn't a real one, this laugh was laced with anger and annoyance,
"Nobody ever gives up their ALL of their secrets, I bet that sister of yours had all kind of secrets she kept from you." Ember stiffened again, and the humidity jumped in the diner from mild to sweltering hot. Aamelia wiped the sweat from her forehead and smirked. Ember took another deep breath, tossing all of his thoughts of his sister aside.
"She probably did, Aamelia, but I can't very well ask her now can I? Cause she's dead.-" before Ember could finish his statement, Aamelia leaned forward,
"Now how EXACTLY did she die? Hmm?" That's when Ember's calm snapped and he ground out between his teeth,
"Stop. Baiting. Me. Yes I watched her die, and yes I did nothing to stop it. Now. Drop. It." Aamelia dropped the topic, but only because the temperature in the diner had to be at least a hundred degrees. She raised her hands out in front of her,
"Fine. Topic dropped." Ember leaned back against his chair and stretched out,
"Now, why am I here?"

Aamelia stirred her eggs again and sighed,
"You were right earlier. I came here to tell you my past cause I've left you in the dark." She paused, and continued before the little voice in her head screamed at her to stop. "When I was younger I used to be this sweet little girl. Caring, nice, and had a total school girl act." She raised a finger to her mouth and mimicked gagging.
"So what happened?" Ember asked. Aamelia tilted her head,
"Do you want to hear this or not, flame boy?" He raises his hands and gestured for her to continue, which she did,
"When I turned fourteen, I was... taken advantage of by this fleabag of a guy and suddenly I wasn't this little nice smart sweet girl anymore. I started acting differently and people began to hate and fear me. Part of me liked that, being part storm variant and all. So I embraced it. That fear and hate, all of it, even though I knew it was wrong. I started picking fights with guys ten times bigger than me, and when I turned sixteen, my parents had had enough and threw me out." She looked out the window and watched the rain slither down the window, "I kept honing my skills and fighting other Zeharu. After about a year I went and visited my mother and father to try and patch things up, only to find out that they had cut me out of their lives for good and moved away." Ember blinked a couple of times and was about to ask a question when she continued,
"They didn't even tell we where they went to. So I figured I wouldn't try to reach out again. They didn't want to see me, or even talk to me so I told myself the feeling was mutual. I got into a pretty bad fight that night and spent days healing on the side of a river bank." She shrugs like it wasn't that big of a deal. Turning to look at Ember, she said,
"I've been traveling ever since. Not a care in the world." Ember focuses on her and asks,
"Haven't you ever thought about settling down? You know making a home? And, don't take this the wrong way, but getting a life? Making something of yourself?" She tips her head back and stares at the water stained ceiling,
"Sometimes. But then I tell myself off and leave. I've had that thought a million times, but I don't want to be tied down like that. At least, maybe not yet." Ember scratches his chin, and puts his elbows on the table,
"Your parents sound like lovely people." She laughs and twirls her wrist in the air,
"My father was...very different. He was an adventurer and loved being away from people. I used to wonder why he was with my mother, she was more arrogant, and didn't really care about anything, she just left life to happen on its own terms and took it as it came. She was very unpredictable, especially when she was calm." Ember lowers his eyes to the coffee in his mug, which now had a dead fly in it, probably from when his anger heated up the room. Aamelia sighed and stood up, chair scraping back,
"I better go. Thanks for listening to me ramble, flame boy." She smirked and Ember stood up and gave a genuine smile,
"No problem, static face." She walked outside, rain only sprinkling now. She shifted and stared down at Ember and he stares up at her. She tilted her head in acknowledgement and took off into the sky, due north. He watched her go, then he shifted back to this dragon form and burrowed into the muddy ground. Bound for home.
That's all folks! I tried to keep it short and sweet XD I tend to get carried away. I might change things in the future so this is permanent for now.
You can comment now! :) Oh my gosh that was really long! Sorry!!!

Re: Aww, I don’t want you to leave ;-; I could most likely make the rp time earlier in the day (like around 4:00 or 5:00) in future sessions. Unfortuntely I’m unable to change the time for the first rp though due to 7 or 7:30 being the earliest I get home. I could give you a summary what takes place in the first one. But whether or not you want to withdraw is entirely up to you.
