I pulled the trigger, and sent one of the creatures to the afterlife with a bullet between the eyes. With more hot on its heels, I ran straight at them, aiming and firing round after round. After another 11 kills, I heard a click.
"F*ck." I growled, releasing the empty clip and ramming it into a nearby eye, which immediately stopped glowing. I put the gun back in my pocket and pulled out my tomahawk. Spinning and swinging wildly, the remaining creatures fell too.
