This might be a little confusing to someone who's unfamiliar with color theory, some things aren't quite explained too well (like how the color of one's surroundings affect the color of shadows) BUT I'd say you did a little better on this than I would if I tried to do a tutorial/advice post on this subject. lol.
Maybe it's 'cause I watched this on speed 2, but your text doesn't linger very long before being erased - I'd advise doing some random brush strokes on a back layer to stall the playback some and give people ample time to read without having to pause.
Thank you, your kind words are very much appreciated ^v^ Yes, I found this tutorial quite informative and thoughtful I'm certain, it'll be useful to quite a few people ^v^
re// the official definition is "Self-insertion is a literary device in which a fictional character, who represents the real author of a work of fiction, appears as an idealized character within that fiction, either overtly or in disguise." It can also be a reference to artwork.
I made a shading/color tutorial 2 years ago and honestly, looking back at it now it felt too awkward and lengthy, and some things were probably wrong. I like how this is short and sweet! :)
